Seroquel overdose poison control

Common Questions and Answers about Seroquel overdose poison control

seroquel

Avatar n tn You mus IMMEDIATELY call the national United States Poison control number at 1-800-222-1222. This is a national number provided for the purpose of enabling anyone anywhere to immediately speak with a physician for advice when ingesting potentially hazardous substances. The oral medications come in various concentrations, so depending on the prescription you may or may not have a problem.
Avatar n tn But if you are in a place where you can telephone a poison-control hotline, maybe call them first to see what will happen to your friend. Have them tell the friend directly. Maybe this will get him or her on the way to the hospital without having to fight about it.

Avatar f tn Try calling your state's Poison Control Center.. They are very knowledgeable in this type of question. Here is the info for New York State. Look up their wensite. It is provided by New York's Department of Health. New York Regional Poison Control Centers - 1-800-222-1222 www.health.ny.gov/professionals/poison_control/centers.htm If you took an extra dose accidentally, you can also call you psychiatrist, but this site also shows an emergency number. They will also tell you what to do.
Avatar n tn They've given great advice. As for overdose, it depends on the person: weight for example. What is a perfect dose for an adult male would probably be too much for a preteen girl. It's important to talk to a doctor or poison control in case treatment is needed.
Avatar m tn Hopefully you are still around and did call poison control or go to the hospital. About that Bible passage. My interpretation of it is that when you love life, this world and all that is in it; appreciate it for what it is, we move on away from this physical plane after death.
Avatar f tn Just a thought...maybe the national Poison Control Center would have an idea for you. I would think an endocrinologist would be the dr with the most knowledge on how to handle something like this. That's an awful mistake. Good luck.
Avatar n tn So I had to think fast cause I know this is a dangerous drug. Called the parmacy and they put me thru to poison control. They told me to go to the ER immediately and asked what hospital I was going to and a bunch of questions. So I got to ER and they took me right away. Poison control called them and told them to administer charcoal and monitor me for 4 hours. The charcoal was a drink and I took a sip of that god awful stuff and a sip of coke till I got it down.
Avatar f tn Hello KCB7, The recommendation on the Tylenol bottle for a maximum dose of 4000 mg daily is a precaution taken to avoid potential liver toxicity & damage. This does not mean that individuals who take more than 4000 mg will experience liver damage & liver failure, it simply means that the risk of liver damage increases.
Avatar n tn Call poison control right away they will advise you what to do, or call your dr if they are open
Avatar n tn call poison control....but i bet you'll be okay. there's a listing for poison control in the phone book. let me know what they say!
Avatar f tn This dose is working for me and is not an overdose. My moods have been BAD BAD BAD as of late, so in addition to the seroquel being increased, so has my lithium.
Avatar f tn 6000mg in spread over 24 hours once will not hurt you.Relax..just don't go over 4000mg/24 hrs if using it chronically. Everything will be fine.
Avatar m tn I got a cold yesterday and took 8 DayQuil/NyQuil in 24 hours. Then today I did the same thing but I also took 6 midol tablets. Altogether today I've taken 5600 mg of acetaminophen. I'm 17. I weigh 119. My mom called poison control and they said I'd be okay but I'm still scared! It was a completely accidental overdose and it's the only time something like this has happened. Will there be severe liver damage?!
Avatar n tn I'm sorry I'm late finding this post and I hope by now you've either started feeling better, or have sought medical attention. More than likely what you're experiencing (experienced) was a case of low blood sugar. As I'm sure you know, the Glyburide-Metformin helps to lower the blood sugar of someone who has diabetes. If you take it and don't have diabetes, it can cause an unsafe drop in your blood sugar.
Avatar n tn If it were me, I would be at the Vet or ER or call Animal Poison Control
Avatar f tn I had to find a new doctor. They ordered blood tests. My TSH level was 10.23. The doctor tried to prescribe Nature Thyroid but the pharmacy (And all other pharmacies in town) didn't have it (Manufacturer is back ordered for 3 months now). So, the pharmacists gave me 150mcg of Levothyroxine and told me to take 2 tablets daily before breakfast. It sounded like a bit much to me, but I did it anyway, for 2 days.
Avatar n tn An overdose of diltiazem can be fatal, so if you are not sure if you missed a dose, to be safe, don't take any that day. I used to get a marker and put M T W T F S S above each pill in line (they were in the foil strips). That way I could see if I had taken that days medication.
Avatar n tn I agree with therese101. Take the dog to the vet before the drug gets into his/her system. They will probably induce vomiting and use charcoal to absorb the "poison" the dog has consumed. But you should take him asap; the sooner he/she gets this out of his/her system, the better.
Avatar m tn Call the national poison control number 1-800-222-1222. You can ask the poison control dude some basic questions without having to go to the ER or talk to your parents. However I would highly suggest going to see a doctor. Make up an excuse if you must. You could be in for some ****** symptoms.
Avatar f tn I will tell someone, but I don't feel sick at all so I should be fine.
