Avatar f tn I was born with eczema and I started to have bronchospasm few years ago. The doc said it might be asthma and prescribed me with salbutamol. However, i found that I don't have the common syptoms as asthmatic people .e.g wheezing or coughing, and it doesn't disturb my sleeping as well. I just feel the bronchi contract and chest tightness which go away after few minutes later without taking the inhaler. I've taken the inhaler before but i found it no use, so i didn't use it anymore.

Avatar f tn I would like to ask if the ipratropium inhaler is available with the combination of salbutamol and what brand?
Avatar f tn Bricanyl (terbutaline) is a bit different than my albuterol that I use when I need it for my asthma. Both are bronchodilators. Albuteral does raise my heart rate a little and give me the jitters for about 15 minutes. Then it fades but it's a normal effect of the medication. I read up a little on terbutaline and those side effects are not uncommon either. But if they persist or get worse each time you use the inhaler, you are supposed to contact your doctor. 112 bpm isn't all that fast.
690039 tn?1277472422 They monitored me for a while, and when my contractions showed up on their nifty little monitor at 4 - 5 minutes apart, they did an fFN and a pelvic, made sure my cervix was holding, and gave me terbutaline and IV fluids (just in case i was mildly dehydrated) to disrupt the contractions. Thankfully it worked and I got to go home in short order. After the subq injection of terbutaline, i only had two completely random contractions.

Avatar n tn Hi all, I am a 21 year old male living in Toronto, Ontario and do not smoke. I have severe allergies to most trees. For the past 6 years I have developed a chronic dry cough in the fall season until it snows in the winter. When I blow my nose, there is a sticky white mucus that comes out. I have been told by the allergist that this is asthma and allergies. I am taking 2 puffs of QVAR in the morning and night, half a tablet of reactine and singular at night, and Avamys in the morning.
Avatar f tn It's usually terbutaline.
Avatar f tn I took her to the doctor who prescribed her Salbutamol cough syrup 3.5 mg 3 times a day saying that she has wheezing. Is it safe? It is not releiving the cough at all, already tried for one and half day. It is about the same.
1562256 tn?1384459598 Well they sent me home. And said if the contractions get worse to go back. Well they should have gave me Terbutaline. But what ever. Does being 30% effaced and 2 1/2cm usually mean that she is going to come? I know I dilated from the contractions.. I dont want her to come now she would maybe be in the NICU for a few weeks. She is about 5 1/2 pounds and measures 3 weeks bigger on ultrasound. Contractions started today. And so did the lower pelvic pains.
Avatar m tn My wife was on the injection form of Terbutaline for well over the FDA's 72 hour 2011 warning. The drug was prescribed to prevent early labor back in 2010. My daughter Anna is now 4. She very active, personable, chatty, etc.; but she has virtually no appetite and weighs only 28 lbs, putting her well into the "Failure to Thrive" region for height and weight. It is very difficult to get her to eat more than 800 calories per day.
