5mg everyday, for to treat the diabetic nephropathy, i can get ramipril in my town but its 5mg ramipril capsule in the chemists, and his medications are over, so should i let him take the 5mg ramipril? my big concern is would the dose cause hypoglycaemia or any other effects as the dosage will be double the dose hid doctor prescribed? please help me on that, i will be grateful...thank you.

I was put on Ramipril 5mg as my BP was high. Wondering how long it takes to work. My pulse is low a 59 but my BP is still high. Is this normal? Im worried if they put the dose up my pulse will go even lower.

I am not familiar with Ramipril, so, unfortunately, can't speak to that. I've read posts here where people take a specific type of levothyroxine and have side effects from the dyes in the pill, so that's a possibility. However, I think further work up is probably warranted.

My cardiologist put me on ramipril a few wks back and after 10 days ran blood tests whic came back normal. this morning I woke up with diarriah and some serious kidney pain on the right side.It doesn't hurt when I urinate or have a bowel movement although certain body movements cause it to occur. My question is can this be caused by ramipril along with my lasix and potassium with a delayed reaction or buildup?

Taking Ramipril In morning for several years. Recently started taking Laxido & banana (for breakfast). About the same time started coughing frequently but intermittently & became slightly breathless when walking. 2 days ago doctor called Emergency as I had persistent chest pain & burping. I take ramipril for my blood pressure.

I had a similar problem on Ramipril and was on 5mg a day. The Doctor re-prescribed the medication as 2.5mg to be taken twice daily. That did the trick for me.

I also tale predisilon ,Azithiopring,Ramipril,Aspring.But my Doctor says i have to take this drugs for ever. Now they stopped predisilon . can't be HSP cure?

How is your heart rate? Can you do beta blockers? Magnesium and potassium affect blood pressure. Foods like blueberries, oatmeal, beets, baked potatoes and bananas are full of magnesium and potassium. I would definitely talk about this BP issue with your doctor.

It starts around the scrotum/urethra area and shoots up to around halfway up the penis almost to the base of the head. It's a shooting needle type sensation that almost feels like a serious itch but also subtly painful. It started about a month ago deep into the urethra almost underneath the scrotum and now it's reaching pretty far up into the penis. There is no discolored or foul smelling urine.
