Is anyone else like this and what can be done. And which the psychotic features am I on my way to having a breakdown of some sorts?

Sometimes on the last day of the Catapres application (which is my working mood stabilizer) I will play the same song or fragment of the same song as well over and over but with my situation not all of the causes are mental. Yes I have experienced all that but mood generally reflects the mood swings I already instead of setting them off but that has happened.

Yes my daughter actually has a favorite song. I think bc the voice sounds so much like daddys, but she rolls and lays right under the taps at my phones speaker laying on my belly.

Well, I'm not sure about that. Antipsychotics don't work right away. Tranquilizers do. Antipsychotics, if they do work, work all the time. Tranquilizes only work for a short period of time and then wear off. If she took this as an antipsychotic injection, it would be during an emergency situation but she would have to take the shots for several months and then go on the medication for longer than that.

I was doing really well before I smoked and really well a few days after and still continue to do well. I had the reaction right after my mom was taken to the ER (she has lupus). I thought that stress was what triggered the depression and the pot just allowed me to act on my depressive thoughts. The next day I smoked the same weed again and that night I ended up getting so upset because I was convinced I was a burden on my friends and that I was better off dead.

Congratulations on day18thats fantastic.I remember(during detox when my emotions were all over the place)I would hear a song,c an inspirational show(I actually watched intervention went online&watched the ones about pills)&I cried.I still draw strength&faith from these things though not a weepy one so much now.Im gonna go listen to that song right now.

Mabey SHE knows more than the doctors regarding whats making her act so bizzare... the poor girl, I pray to god somone suggests this to the media or her (if they havent already) because if she just went off the antidepressants and is withdrawing,, that would explain alot... or she may be mixing it with other 'street' drugs and thats why she went a bit crazy not to mention drinking on top of them.

Your young friend has what is called a dissociative reaction. The best thing you can do for her is help her find a well trained psychoanalyst. It is something that she can be helped with if she gets right person.

It's possible that the opiates or earlier, the alcohol, was masking an anxiety reaction to the Med. How long have you been on the Bupropion & when did you start experiencing the anxiety? Discontinuing an SSRI & switching to W (if it doesn't work for you) might also cause this. (I had a friend that that happened to). Have you told your Dr. ?

I would hear a song in the supermarket and it would fill me with a flood of emotions and memories of the past even though it was some kind of easy listening garbage and then it would get worse than that as it would "predict" what was going to happen. Whenever I listen to music with people of course they know the words to alot of the music, but they are astonished by how much I know. And how much detail I know about the song, not just the words. If someone played the first second or two of a song then hit pause, I would know exactly what it is, and could finish the whole thing without the music. I can rap an entire song to an instrumental and be right on point with amazing precision.

Has anyone out there had a Psychotic Reaction to Lexapro during first week of treatment? I was given it for acute anxiety, within 24 hrs it crashed my into depression, I have suffered mild attacks of depression in the past, but nothing like this.

As far as food goes, the baby doesn't "like" any certain food. The baby does not taste food. They simply recieve all the nutrients their little bodies need from whatever you're eating. As far as sound and/or music, I think this is different. The baby responds to certain things: light, movement, physical activity, etc. I don't know if it necessarily means they "like" it.
