What it will use in abundance is fat.. healthy fats .If you consume these and eat low carb you will still have the energy.. fat doesn't make you fat.. it certainly doesn't block arteries if you eat the healthy fats.. stay away from vegetable oils (any processed oils) processed foods and you'll do great. Avatar f tn Hi all, I'm having RAI done on May 15. As of this Thursday I am on the LID. I only have to do it for a week. Wondering a few things.....I'm on a very strict nutritional program and typically eat two (6 ounce) servings of meat (chicken breast or eye of round) and 1-2 whey protein shakes per day. Avatar n tn Typically, the best diet for PCOS is the same one used for diabetics. That would be foods that are high in fiber, protein and fat, but low on the glycemic index - meaning they don't spike the blood sugar levels. Center your meals round veggies, healthful fats, lean protein, nuts, seeds, dairy, eggs, etc.
