percocet headache

im very head strong, im not gonna be taking percocet everyday bc of a headache, its just this pain and pressure and nothing over the counter really works for me, i hate percocet actually my drug of choice was hydrocodone 10/325, so when i take a perk it doesnt phase me in the least, weird huh??? But I need the advice..I have a family party to go to today I cant be all in pain and **** with my head and its OUTSIDE! wonderful....

Percocet is Tylenol + oxycodone. Tylenol is the most common pain reliever that is safe to use in pregnancy (you're not supposed to take Aspirin or Ibuprofen unless instructed by your doctor).

Ive never heard of a Percocet 30mg, but Percocet and Oxycontin are not the same thing...I believe that Oxycontin is time released while Percocet is not...please someone correct me if Im wrong...hope this helps!

per day, I am out of percocet, but am taking the oxycontin. I feel kind of sick. Arent they the same thing? Why would I be having withdrawels? I take the meds for real pain, and ran out of the percocet, because I try not to take as much oxycontin, becuase it makes me tired and gives me a headache. Any ideas?

30 I started having a headache. They said if you do not take a lot of pain meds, certain ones can cause and aftermath headached, especially dilauddid. So, they gave my my percocet and sent me on my way. By the time I got home, I was throwing up again and had the worst dabilitating headache of my life. I could hardley move, speak, anything and I was so sick. It felt like the top of my head was going to explode. I had to take percocet every 3.5 hours just to keep it at a minimal.

Dental abscesses, infection and difficulties with jaw joint can cause local pain and referred pain to head and face. Headaches from dental stress cause a muscle tension headache. A tension headache can give the feeling as if a steel band were wrapped around it. The pain feels like a dull, non-throbbing ache. See a dentist and get evaluated. Hope it helped. Post surgery I had a few complications including nerve damage in my leg and pelvic arthritis. I was on percocet lyrica and cymbalta. Once the nerve damage got better I stopped the lyrica and cymbalta. After going back to work after surgery, I was afraid of taking percocet (im a teacher) so the dr gave me tramadol. 2 weeks ago I had steroidal injections in my pelvis and asked for something stronger because the tramadol wasnt working.

I was taking about 8-10 percs (10-325) for about a year. Before I took Vicodin for 2 years but not abuseing it. I am very happy to be clean but I am suffering terribly from joint pain in legs and headaches. I take Advil for joint pain and if the headache is bad I take Excedrin.

I am a happy person and I try my hardest to live my life to the fullest when about four months ago I became bedridden with pain. The Dr gave me percocet and it gave me my life back. In the beginning I took them as I should but then it became that I needed them more and more. In the 4 months time I took right at 300 pills. Then When I got low I stopped taking them in fear that I may run out and need them on a day that I just cant take the pain.

Motrin, hot baths,rest,etc...Be patient.

So I’ve been taking pain meds for nearly 7 years for medical and then recreational use. Was recently averaging 100mg daily of Percocet. I do have a legal script and continue to misuse my meds. Finally have came to the crossroads and ran short on meds. Made the decision just days before that this is and started weaning down somewhat. So withdraws began during the weaning process about 72 hours ago. Took 45 mg yesterday and down to 10 mg today @ 630 AM; now 1:16.

Everything seems to be a little bit better. Still bad stomach cramps and a bad headache today. Still problems sleeping and eating....forcing myself to eat at least once a day. The cravings are still bad but I'm hoping the physical part will end soon. I know the mental side will probably last a while longer.

Only the tension headache though, not the other types. Also my grandma SWEARS by drinking flat Coke for a headache. Sounds gross I know but it works sometimes. I just drink it not flat does the same thing.

I took two ten mg percocets at 9:00am and the 4mg of suboxone roughly 7 hours later. The last 24 hours have been absolutely agonizing. I cannot keep anything on my stomach as I vomit shortly after eating or drinking anything. I'm sweating, cannot sleep and have a headache. I realize, although I am not addicted physically to the Percs, that I am in precipitated withdrawals for 24 plus hours now. My question is how long is this going to last and will taking 4 more mg of suboxone help?

After two minutes on crutches practicing I got a headache, I will be on crutches for 4-6 weeks... Hopefully the Percocet will help with the head pain as well as the leg pain.

i am having a horrible tooth ache its my wisdom tooth it needs to be pulled but it cant be extracted until wednesday so this morning i took a vicodin 750 mg but i dnt have any left when the pain kicks back in can i take a percocet 10 mg and it want interact with the vic in my body thanx for your time

Hi, I am new to this website but I recently went to my pain management doctor and my medication was changed from 7.5 percocets 4xday to 15mg of morphine sulfate er 3xday. However, I find the morphine is not as effective in helping me with my pain level and the side affects from the morphine are severe headache, stomache upset, tired then restless at times, eyesight affected, and just don't feel good or like me.

I tell you all one thing, percocets make me smoke a lot more than I ever did, that will be one less headache once I wean off some more...can I take tramadol with percocet the last week for the pain? 5mgs of perc with 100 mg of tramadol?

If you have no other SX and your pain is bilateral (both sides) than it sounds more like a nasty headache. There are Headache and Migraine Centers and/or Physicians that specialize in the treatment of Headaches and Migraines. If you are obtaining no pain relief or reasons from your current Medical Practitioner than it may be time to consult the specialists. I'd use your Search Engine to locate information on Migraines and Headaches. There is a lot of information available.

i cant go to the er cuz i dnt have ins. right niw. if i take this one percocet just fo stop the pain, is it possible that i woukd have to go through withdrawals again? i dnt want to take it but i am in soo much pain. somebody hekp me quick.

Is it normal to have headaches??!!. Im 27+3 and I bin having a headache for past two days. And I feel terrible because I have Nauzeas and feel like vomiting :-(. And I took some pills but It goes away for a lil bet then comes back. Why is that??!!..

I am currently taking percocet as a break through med with morphine sustained release. I didn't have a choice on what I could take for breakthrough medicine. I don't take more than 1950 mg of tylenol per day via the percocet. I think the percocet and the vicodin puts a "cap" on how much a person can take before destroying their liver. My doctor has been very trustworthy of me but always wants me to stay on these combo meds.

Its not easy for me to get to a store as i dont drive because of my anxiety. I did just dump out a beer,it was giving me a headache. Im scared im goin gto call my Doctor mid week and ask for more.

However, the past 3 mornings I have woken up with the worst headaches I have ever had. Is this normal for getting wisdom teeth out or is this a side effect of the Percocet? Is there any reason to be concerned about this?
