percocet and robaxin

I was prescribed robaxin 3 months ago. I have chronic pain and a failed back surgery. My DOC was hydrocodone. I liked the uppers, not downers. It's highly unlikely that I'll ever become addicted to this. I hate the way it brings me down and makes me sleepy. But when the burn kicks in, it does relieve. I just cant take when working or driving. I had gotten a bottle of 60, and I probably still have 50 in 3 months. Give it a shot if you know you won't like downers.

I have 2 bulging diclsc in the lumbar fegion that are sitting on the l4 l5 nerve and sciatic nerve. Plus arthritis in upper lumbar region. I have been on so many meds and the only thing that helps is percocet. Any suggestions? My doc wants mue on thelonger acting meds with minimal break through meds. I dont do well on oxycontin, any suggestions?

He put me on robaxin, 2 a day for six weeks, and said to come back in 6 weeks if it isnt better, well at first i thought it was helping, but it really isnt that much. Its only been 10 days, am i expecting too much ? Am i on the right path with this treatment ? Any suggestions ? ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY !! Best.

calcification, I also have an enlarged pancreatic duct and history of bile duct sclerosis. I have systemic sclerosis and have chronic gastric ulcers (no H-pyloric) and food bezoars for 10 years. I am supposed to be on liquid diet (I am not) and have gastroparesis and have gained 40 pounds in past two years. I have hypothyroidism for 33 years and empty sella syndrome.

ve taken robaxin, soma, and flexeril and baclofen. the robaxin and baclofen were nothing regarding w/d. The soma I had alot of insomnia in the beginning and the robaxin I noticed no side effects either.

My dad was on methocarbamol for years. When he was in the army he was shot in the stomach and it came out through his spine. He had to take something everyday for it. The methoc. was the best thing for him. It didn't interefere with any of his other meds. He also took a percocet when he went to bed if he was in severe pain. It always amazed me that he took drugs like this for 40+ years and never became addicted and I became addicted after one surgery.

looking into medical massage,a nd acupuncture . just changed meds today to percocet 10 , robaxin, and trazadone i dont know if these will help i was just taking loritab ,10 ambien. 10 getting about 1 hr sleep on ambien ha! / due to muscle spasms pm put me on robaxin? i have been through every muscle relaxent except valium and soma helps the best but of course he said he wouldnt presribe it yet.

So here I am at 12am IN PAIN.... I got a refill of my percocet and have robaxin and cough syrup and amoxocillin for my infection but the cough is causing pain too... Does anyone have advice for me to help me through this?

Feb 8th i had L5S1 fussed. i now regret that. When i thought the pain couldnt get worse it does. My husband has to lift me out of bed and i scream. i try to walk but i feel sick and about to pass out. i dread having to go to the toilet. The pain goes accross my lower back and down both legs, my right groin into my right buttock. Right leg feels like its been wrapped tight in an ace bandage and i put my leg in a tub of ice water for hours.

didnt sleep well and have woke up in pain both mornings. my dr also has me on gabaphentin and robaxin. is the gabaphentin habit forming? i only take it and the robaxin at night. the robaxin only helps the pinched nerve i have in my upper back/shoulder area. it does nothing for my lower back. and thanks for all the responses. im new and really have no idea what im doing.

Does anyone know anything about the muscle relaxer, Robaxin? my dr. prescribed it for me, and like all others the dr's prescribe now, i like to ask in here if it has any addictive tendencies.

I recently discovered a bottle of methocarbomal also known as robaxin i was prescribed like 5 years ago and had read that this stuff can help ease the achiness of withdrawal. My question is, will it help ease the pain and is it still even good after 5 years? I also may be getting some tramadol tomorrow to help with the withdrawal as well...can these be taken together? I have recently been prescribed to Robaxin, Vicodin and Gabapentin for back pain/sciatica. Anyone have experience with these meds?

i think zanaflex may be the same as Robaxin......The robaxin worked great, but gave me such a bad rash.....I can't take it....unfortunately.......

Hey guys, I was takin 40-50 pills of coricidin (the OTC cough med for people with high blood pressure), and cuz i couldnt get them one day I over dosed on xanax and ambien and lyrica. I take Lyrica for my fibromyalgia on a regular basis, was hospitalized and not detoxed medically was not given anything to help with the detox symptoms. Drank last night (10-30-10) 2 drinks and am a WRECK today (Halloween) going to a party tonight and taking my children trick or treating. I'm a mess.

Focal left paracentral disc extrusion at C3/C4 resulting moderate left lateral canal stenosis, abuttting and minimallly distorting the left lateral aspect of the cord. C6/C7 demonstrates mild degenerative disc disease resulting in mild canal stenosis and foriaminal narrowing. I am on Nucynta ER 200mg, Nucynta, Valium for the headaches that everyday melodic am and methocarbamol. I had need surgery in April of 2011.

I am very sore today and hurting. I have been taking ibuprofen but today its not working. I have a curve in spine that pushes on muscles and causes them to hurt. I am try to figure out if I am just hurting of from the stopping of pain pills. I went to my doc last week and he did give an antiflammotory and a non-addictive muscle relaxer when I told him of my issues with lorcets. I have yet to get these filled but wondering if I should.

m on Oxy Morphone for pain, Neurotin, and Robaxin. Even with all of that, I still have breakthrough pain.

I only started taking percocet yesterday, after suffering for 4 days with severe pain. I had tried everything, NSAIDS, hot wet compresses, I went for massages 4 days in a row! I'm going to have to go back and get an MRI, but in the meantime, I need to take the percocets. I just don't know if I should continue taking the subs while I am on the percocet. I want off the subs really bad, but I only got 15 percs and I don't know how long it will take me to get another Dr appt.

) but i was given Robaxin at first too which did nothing, I have since tried flexeril and zanaflex and I am now taking 4 mg of the zanaflex 3 times a day but i take 1 and 1/2 at night and that dosage works the best on the spasm but makes you very sleepy. Maybe you could ask your doc about the zanaflex when you go and hopefully you'll find some relief.

take robaxin, stress arrest w/gaba and aleve daily to no avail

I have been through the ringer with pain medicine, with no results. I've been living in excruciating pain for the last 2 years following 2 spinal fusions and cannot find any way to relieve the pain. The pain is centralized at the location of my fusion. S1/L5/L4. I am extremely active. I run roughly 5 miles every morning, and have no trouble lifting heavy objects. My pain is only during certain motions. Sitting to standing, laying flat in bed, and bending to tie my shoes (or similar).

I am 6 weeks pregnant and have kidney problems. The ER Doctor gave me Percocet and Promethazine and I can't remember if I can take them together.
