Avatar f tn Hi Bailey, Zegrid is Omeprazole and sodium bicarbonate can change the way your body absorbs or eliminates certain other drugs. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use. This includes vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor.Notice this states it may affect herbal products absorbtion, so the herbal coffee subsitute may not do all it claims....
Avatar f tn I have had lived with stomach pain for years. Most recently, completed a 30 day omeprazole treatment with a reflux diagnosis. Three days after completion of med. symptoms returned. I have a burning sensation in my stomach and naussea tha is worse in the night. It is strong enough to wake me. I do not wish to live on omeprazole but don't want stomach attacks to return where the pain is sharp and prohibits me from standing.

Avatar m tn ve felt like i was having a heart attack before from bad acid indigestion and gas and Sodium bicarbonate was the only thing that helped. It may or may not help you depending on what the problem actually is but it's an easy thing to try and see. I have to have a prescription for it so you may need to ask your doctor for one.
Avatar f tn If its too bad it could be a little painful but other then that you should call the pediatrician and they will prescribe Nystatin oral supplement and the cream for if it gets too bad and he gets a rash but if its not too bad just mix a teaspoon of bicarbonate sodium in a cup of water and after every feeding clean his mouth and put some on your breast if you breastfeed that way the infection wont be back and foward from you and the baby
Avatar m tn sodium bicarbonate, tea tree oil and lavender or cedarwood oil.. After a few days, my wife and I both developed contact dermatits under our arms. I was told by the owner of the company that basically it was all of the toxins in my system that was causing the reaction and not the product. I should start to eat raw, etc, etc, etc. All I wanted was deodorant. I'm interested in some dermatologists viewpoint on this all.
Avatar n tn Yes.. I tried this sodium bicarbonate test.. And it fizzles which indicates a boy.. But I can not confirm it as where I live; gender determination is a crime..
Avatar f tn baking soda is the same as sodium bicarbonate. Baking powder is baking soda with a couple additives (corn starch and cream of tartar). As far as why you would want to do this, baking soda can be used as an antacid. I'm unsure of why you would want to do it so many times a day (that equates in my mind like taking tums 2-3 times a day). Also you do need to be careful because stomach acid is supposed to be there and is supposed to be acidic.
Avatar n tn t retain it. Try to avoid foods high in sodium, and make sure to get plenty of time off of your feet. Unfortunately it is a part of pregnancy. You don't have high BP, do you?
Avatar f tn Both Sodium Chlorite and common salt (Sodium Chloride) have anti-microbe properties, Sodium Chlorite is more effective. Sodium Chlorite is added to packaged meat because of its ability to inhibit bacterial growth. Also when it acidifies, it produces Chlorine Dioxide which is shown to kill a wide range of microorganisms. Incidentally Chlorine Dioxide is also used to purify the water we receive at home. Sodium Carbonate: When acidified helps loosen persistent mucus in the nose.

14801663 tn?1436788166 Hi Tony Thanks again for there kind words - the good wishes we have received from friends have been incredibly important to us. At our last vet appointment, we ran through most of the points in your 10-step plan. (The vet was incredibly patient with us.) And we also got a copy of Ishka's blood results. I'll detail the vet's response to each of our questions for you because I know you add to your knowledge of the disease, and to vets' approaches, by gathering this sort of info.
Avatar f tn Baking soda will help if you can get it down. Sodium bicarbonate tabs used to be the go-to relief.
Avatar n tn He gave me like 20 bottles of sample Zegerid 40mg/1100mg omeprazole/sodium bicarbonate capsules. Took these for about 2 weeks and they did not help much at all. I rarely brought acid up my throat but I do on several occasions have food brought up. When I would go to sleep feeling sick I would always wake up the next day better until I ate. Then I would either get sick or not. This is the norm now. Any ideas on what might be effecting me?
