I noticed that at first my ringing was real low but then all of the sudden as soon I took the nasonex my ear ringing got a lot louder out nowhere and it also kind of started in the other a little bit then that went away. But my right ear kept buzzing loud for a couple of hours but then later that night around 1am in the morning I noticed that I didn't hear any ringing at all.
think I must be going crazy. After having throat/ear issues for over a month, I went to the doctor 10 days ago. He said I had a ton of fluid behind my ears and there was inflammation. He also said that my right ear drum looked really dull. He thinks my issues are being caused by a sinus infection. I've been taking Nasonex and antibiotics for 11 days and am still having problems. Here is where I think it gets weird. My ear bothers me when I go outside even for just a few minutes.
hi i can not hear in my right ear, have a feeling of water in my head, clicking in both ear EVERY time i swollow, and headaches that last for the day and my eyes feel lick they are too big for the sockets.I can "POP" my ear open an d hear perfectly for about a 30 sec period. I saw the end of THE DOCTORS and the person had the same symptoms and there was a surgery to open the eustation tubes with a baloon. Any idea what my problem is??
He put me on Nasonex, a steroid nasal spray, to reduce the inflammation. I also hear my heartbeat in my ear at times, and he's hoping that a month on Nasonex will stop that. If not, he'll do a CT scan and other work to see what's going on.
Here's my question: Are any of you using something like Nasonex or Flonase? I do have a headache behind my eyes and feel tired a lot, but I had that before too.
I wake up every morning with what feels like lots of phelgm in my throat, and since I sleep on my right side, there is some fluid that seems to build up in my right ear. Nothing ever comes out of my ear but when I lift my ear off the pillow there is a suctioning sound, and when I wiggle my finger in there I hear stuff. I also get a flutter felling in my ear sometimes. Whew...........My main concern is the phlegm/mucous in my throat.
It does not sound like the antibiotic and Nasonex are working for you since you are still congested and you still have the ear/jaw pain. It is possible that you have a chronic sinusitis or you may be allergic to something (like a seasonal allergy). Either way, since you have had a failed course of antibiotics, I think you would benefit from an evaluation by an ENT.

Soon enough I went to visit a doctor about it who took a look at my ears and told me they were perfectly fine but he gave me some xyzal and nasonex nose spray. After taking both the noise began to slowly fade away but this odd feeling in my ear has still persisted and every time I yawn I can still feel the slight uncomfortable/pain at the left side of my neck.
I am a 20 year old female who has been suffering from terrible ear and throat pain for the past few days, so today I attended a GP appointment and was informed that I have Glue Ear, which is now being treated with a decongestant and an antibiotic...
The only issue is that I am due to fly back to the UK tomorrow to attend university, it isn't a long flight (about an hour), but I'm worried about the negative effects this may have on my ears.
Would it be relatively safe to fly?
I just started using Nasonex (steroid nasal spray), and it really helps my allergies and sinus headache, and eye-related sinus problems. But I also have PVCs and my heart pounds a lot (can feel it in my head, back, etc). I'm wondering whether Nasonex is safe to take long term if I have these heart issues. Doctor just shrugged his shoulders when I asked. Anyone know?

My name is Kimberly, I am 40 years old. About 7 years ago I was treated with Nasonex in conjunction with a cpap machine for my sleep apnea. After that every time I bent over water would pour out of one side of nose. At first I thought it was blood, but it was the exact consitency of water. I stooped using the nasonex and the cpap ueats ago.
This has happened off and on for years.About 6 months ago I noticed the drip was back, as well as occasional water out of my ears.
they found nothing but a little allergy reaction to something. the ear nose throat doctor was the one who put him on the nasonex, every thing else checked out with him too.i didnt think it was meningitis becouse my family doctor checked his glands and neck stiffness.i do know that he did have the fungas on his scalp but i wasnt sure about all the other problems if they could be related to that also.
symptoms, along with some jaw soreness and soreness to pressure/touch inside the ear canal (outer canal only...not going into the ear canal) I am thinking that I only need to give it a few more days for everything to clear up, but am looking for any other advice or things I should be watching for? Thank you. Also, if the nasonex has been working, should I expect flonase to be as effective (it is quite a bit less expensive in generic.
i have has this for about 4 to 5 years and it gets very annoying . we have suggested it was glue ear but he said that it was not , however when i read about glue ear they said it gets worse in winter which happens to me .

I have a feeling of pressure above my cheekbone between my temple and ear (roughly in the middle) what could it be? I'm taking nasonex (oral nose) and omeprazole (oral pill) i've had this feeling for 3 days now.

I have experienced ear/eustachian tube pain in both ears (although one is much worse) since a dentist appointment to repair a broken tooth 2 months ago. Doctors have suggested, and I have tried, decongestants, Garasone, Nasonex, Neti pot, Advil Cold and Sinus. Nothing is working. The glands in my neck are sore and swollen. There does not seem to be much, if any, good news to be found on the resolution of this condition. Any suggestions??
I've had a cold brought on from allergies for over a week. It caused fluid to build up in my left ear. I've been given lots of sample allergy pills and told to get Mucinex to help remove the fluid but neither has worked. Then I was given a prescription for an antibiotic which has not worked. I've tried all the home remedies to remove the fluid....ear drops, hair dryer blown at ear, heat pack on ear, popping my ears (which I tried and failed to do).
Sounds like "glue ear" secondary to a middle ear infection.
How long has this been going on? No Pediatrician visit?
The remaining 30% is no use as only pick v high pitched or very low tone. The tinnitus is permanently there. About 10 years ago I developed glue ear in my left ear. Had a grommet fitted which fell out as expected after a year. Around 18 months ago ear drum perforated in left ear. Perforation is not healing spontaneously. I have had recurrent middle ear infections in left ear. I have scar tissue in left ear.I have had various diagnosis over the years inc menieres, BPPV, crystals.
