Mobic and tramadol

Common Questions and Answers about Mobic and tramadol

mobic

I wished I would have gone to the doctor sooner so I could have healed before school starts back. Oh well, I will just pray that surgery is not necessary. Anywhoo, he gave me a script for mobic and tramadol. I have never been prescribed either, but after reading this forum, I opted NOT to get the tramadol filled. I did get the mobic filled because I only take it once daily so I figured it would be okay. Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
I haven't been on mobic. I was on Xanax to get off of Tramadol and xanax really made me ill because I take Klonopin for my migraine variant and since it is a benzodiazepine and so is Xanax they didn't mix. So, I would try to get off the Xanax very very slowly with tapering advice from you doctor. I took Miralax for constipation from the beginning of taking Tramadol and I took Phenergan for nausea.
You might ask your doctor for Mobic, or Arthrotec or some other types of stronger NSAIDS. The tramadol is worthless...and dangerous. AVISG saved me from it, and my new doctor confirmed everything she said. Love you AVISG!
mobic is an NSAID tramadol (ultram) is not an NSAID i take mobic for my arthritic pain whenever i need it. it has helped me a lot with reducing inflammation and decreasing pain.
of the head when turning. Rather your SX (and other's that I read) are due to the side effects of Tramadol or unrelated is difficult to guess. It may be possible that you are reacting to the combination of medications your being prescribed. In a search for an answer to your side effects question I also did some looking into the prescribed Meloxicam. Some of the side effects of Mobic (meloxicam) are problems with vision or balance and headaches. Sorry I could not be of greater assistance.
So I'm hooked on tramadol, without which I can't really walk with my back and the detox is hell, and living in a country where I can get them cheaply, without a prescription, at about 50 locations within a 5 minute walk to my house. Good news: they do have AA here! Bad news: NOT IN INGLES, and my lazy butt hasn't learned Spanish yet. I've tried quitting cold turkey a few times and haven't made in more than 2-3 days. I'm still not drinkin though.
After two years into recovery (still on Tramadol 150-200mg, antinflamatories like Mobic) and regular exercise I was feeling stronger and better... And then, overestimating my wellness and underestimating my addiction - I had a fall and sustained another injury on top of others, soon increasing tramadol to 800-1000mg, sometimes even 10X200mg-2000mg DAILY again PLUS Buprenorphine patch 20micrograms per hour through the skin...Shocking.

Welcome Tramadol Warriors! Fred wrtes, "I stick with it because I remember how the T-train caused INCREASED pain all over my body, in places I never imagined I could have pain. I stick with it because I can remember what it was like to be in the FOG of TRAM, to walk into a room, and forget why I was there, I stick with it because I would rather not get killed on my motorcycle from being too fogged to care what I was doing.
Howdy Tramadol Warriors! New space New day!
Also, is there any pain medication that others have had success with that I should ask about? I was only ever prescribed tramadol after I injured it and it didn't do anything to help. I was given that by the doctor on the base we were at.
I'm going back on the mobic...at least it's a smaller pill. And during the day, at work, taking tramadol or flexeril if my hands hurt too bad. I started taking osteobiflex & fish oil tablets... maybe they'll help?
Since then I have been able to get down to 5 tablet yesterday and so far 2 today ( will probably need to take 1 at around midnight to be able to sleep) I have been taking 600 mg of gabapentin nightly for about a week and about 20-25 mg of adderall Daily ( I am rx adderall for ADD) but only take half of what I'm rx'ed ( 60 mg daily) I also take 1 mobic a day( antiiinflamatory) that was rx'ed for a herniated c5/6 cervical disc and cervical spondylitis Today I picked up some herbal 5htp and L-thea
but the thing that sucks about Mobic is that if I have pain later on in the day, I can't take more than 15mg of Mobic- nor can I take any other kind of pain reliever like tylenol or asprin, etc because it can have serious side effects. So pretty much, If I take Mobic in the morning and have pain at night, I can't take any more meds. Does anyone have a good idea of a med that is not habit-forming, something that will work good, and something I can take every day? THanks!
I take 120Mg of Cymbolta and 2400 Mg of Gabipention for the leg and 30 Mg of Mobic for the hip pain. When I need a bit more help with the hip pain, I take 5/325 MG of Hydroco App. On my worst day I have taken as many as 6 of my Hydraco App but two is normal on my bad days. I do not take it every day. However when I do take it about four hours later I start to sweat really, really bad. I thought it was due to the Hydroco and you should know you are not alone.
for the last 6 years they have had me taking everything from tramadol, xanax, morphine, diladud, oxycontin, oxcycodone, codeine, oxcycodone ir, vicodin, norco, soma, flexeril, meloxicam, mobic, on top of that I used to be an alcoholic, and use illegal drugs cocaine mostly weed, and whatever else to stop the pain from the total disc replacement surgery in my back. Here is the ****** up part, I can't get off them even if I wanted to, I would be in chronic pain and I am only 37 years old.
I have some arthritis in my neck and some disc degeneration and I take Mobic for the inflamation which helps the joint pain. It works like Vioxx and Celebrex but hasn't been taken off the market so far. Good luck.
I was prescribed Topamax along with an appetite suppressant (Adipex) for weight loss a bit over a year ago and stopped taking them after two and a half months. I did not lose all of the weight I had wanted to, but most of it. I had gained 55 pounds while on Paxil over the course of two and a half years. By taking a combination of the two medicines, I lost 22 pounds the first month, 10 pounds the second month, and 8 pounds the first half of the third month.
Ask for something besides a narcotic. (and NO to tramadol!) There are other things that they can try! You don't want to get back on that junk, do you?
One doctor told me I haveBack Pain with Sciatica, Hematuria and he went on im his notes I have MS and the MS is called Arthralgia and Muscle problem. Now another told me that Diagnostic were that he note Facet Arthrosis in the lower spine -L4-L5 and L5-SI and mild facet hypertrophy. But no significant disc bulge or protrusion is seen at any level. Disc space are well maintained. Now after my baby was born 2 month she came down with Baterial Meningitis after I stop breastfeeding expain that to me.
Ok... so I've been on mobic for a few years. Last few weeks, didn't seem like it was working. So went back to the dr... he changed my medicine back to relafen. I had taken this 5 years ago, when I was first diagnosed with OA & fibromyalgia. It worked then... but made me break out in this weird rash on my neck & cheeks. At least, that's what I thought was causing the rash at the time. I've since realized that no matter what meds the doctor puts me on, I keep this rash...
Last November I had 5, 6, and 7 upper vertebra fused together and feel so much better in that way BUT i can't take anti inflammatory medications for my Osteoarthritis, Tylenol doesn't even help a bit and non of the arthritis over the counter meds help either. My question is... is there a non narcotic pain medication that I can take every day? I am 45 years old and very healthy besides my arthritis. thank you!
i want treatment and to get on with my life. i take tramadol, baclofen, amitryptoline, mobic and symbalta. can anyone help me???
the drinking might be from the heart worms exspanding the lungs and and putting pressure on the other orgains.
3xdaily-lyrica 75, baclofen 10, insta-flex (a joint support medicine ordered off of TV), tramadol 50, methadone 5; and as needed daily oxycodone 15 (up to 6 per day), black cohosh, pro-air. I know this seems like an awful lot of anti-inflammatory pills, but my Neurologist says he has a "plan" and to trust him on this.
tramadol can be addictive and you dont want to end up back where u were before..if u do decide to try something for pain..be sure you talk to your doctor and try to choose sumpin safe..
My energy really is coming back and I was able to go into town and shop and get my hair done after working for 7 hours. Keep in mind I'm only 48 hours in. I just want to send encouragement to others that although it will most likely take a bit longer for you, ITS SO WORTH IT!
I went to primary doc on wed and he told me to take the meds prescribed for 5 days and if it returns after stopping it to call him and he'll run a cbc and sed rate. He put me on Mobic. I have had no visual disturbance, etc. I have read about other people having problems after taking Tramadol (headaches for a week). Any ideas or experience with this type of headache.
Hi everyone. Just got a question. As some of you know i've been off vicodin for several weeks now. Well my arthritis has been really bad. So bad i'm having trouble even functioning, which is ruff cuz i have a 4 and 6 yrs olds. My question, my doctor now knows about my "problem" but says i need something to manage my pain so he just gave me Ultrams 50mgs. The script says 2 every 6 hrs. Aren't these just as addictive or not. How will they make me feel. Anything similair to the vicodin.
