this is quite serious condition, go straight back to your doctor, as pain in the jaw is a sign of a heart attack, if you have had a heart attack you will need an angiogram to see if there is damage or blockages and may need a stent.
An hour is rather a long time for the heart to decide to have an attack after eating. Generally it would happen within 15 minutes of eating. As already stated, it is worth having your vital signs checked but maybe it would be worth eating something before you go to your emergency. I'm 44, female. I have two heart problems. One is the prolapsed anterior mitral valve which I did the echo-test in 2001. I have experienced chest and back pain recently (for about 4 weeks). Chest pain located in left lower side and back pain located between shoulder blades. My doctor has run several tests including thyroid function, glucose, and some neurological studies. Everything comes back perfect, but I still feel bad.
Could this be a heart condition? Should I be more pro-active by seeking out a cardiologist on my own? There is a lot of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease in my family.
