Avatar n tn I just had a miscarriage on July 30th and I was 23 1/2 weeks pregnant. I was put on Lovenox and a baby aspirin 2 weeks prior to miscarrying. The Doctor seems to think that when we get pregnant again that I can get on Lovenox and baby aspirin when i'm 7 weeks pregnant and that the pregnancy will be a healthy succuessful one. I'm just wondering has anyone else had a successful pregnancy taking Lovenox? Just really nervous and have alot of questions now.
Avatar n tn I would like to have another child, how significant are the risks to my health during a pregnancy and delivery. Will coumadin hurt the fetus and if so are there alternatives during the pregnancy.
Avatar n tn contributes to a blood clotting factor. Does anyone know the success rate for a full-term pregnancy? Also, any meds I should look into. Any other thoughts or ideas on this topic?
Avatar f tn There is some data suggesting that implantation rates are lower with IVF; and miscarriage rates are higher for women with MTHFR. So, it is one of the things that REs like to treat prophyllactically. Biochemically speaking, the Folic acid theory is sound, and extra folic acid is unlikely to cause problems. Aspirin at that dosage is unlikely to "hurt" either.

8650265 tn?1421565413 I have a stable clot in my leg and have been on Lovenox my entire pregnancy, I had extra ultrasounds to monitor the baby as clotting disorders can affect growth rates. It's better to be safe!
Avatar n tn The success rates are higher and they will grow your blastocyst outside of you and insert it so you know it wont be chemical. Not to mention they can insert more than one to iincrease your chances. You said you went to a blood doctor? Are you RH neg.? That could also be a cause to your challenge. www.rhogam.com can offer more info on that.
Avatar f tn Hey ladies Just a quick question- can anyone share their experiences with PIO vs. vaginal tablets. My RE says success rates are the same and I can choose. I will totally go with the tabs if they are just as good. But I didn't come this far to let something like a shot (granted I hear it is the worst) hold me back. Any thoughts?
Avatar f tn I am high risk pregnancy . Cause of the blood clots ,and I give myself shots in the stomach everyday . But I am 26 weeks so far . But I don't know they going 2 do my labor .
Avatar n tn I am on Lovenox (Xaparin) since early in my pregnancy. Now my doctor wants to perform a c-section at week 37 without giving me much of a medical explanation. I feel strongly about a natural delivery. Does any one had a similar experience?
Avatar f tn She was crowning...but then I spiked a fever and my daughters heart rate began to become a small issue. It was 5am and I decided on a C-section. Turns out she was 9 1/2 pounds and posterior! No wonder! I am 10 weeks pregnant and have this strong desire to want to deliver naturally. I was the last person to be able to hold my baby because of the surgery and I don't want that to happen again. Because of the vaginal crowning and C-section recovery was awful.
Avatar f tn I started taking baby aspirin and folgard 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant. I am also injecting 30mg Lovenox everyday after positive pregnancy test. The pregnancy went well except bad nausea and vomittings. At 15 weeks I vomitted blood. My OB asked me stop aspirin for 2 weeks. I did and my nausea and vomitting were gone after 1 week. He asked me to resume baby aspirin after 2 weeks. I did and after 1 week I vomitted again.
Avatar f tn my first pregnancy with this dr. and taking Lovenox for the past 15 days.....Had second sonogram yesterday and saw fetal pole, yolk sac and heartbeat!!! I was so excited, I was on cloud nine all day...until two hours ago when I heard my latest #'s.....already spoke to dr. he said not to worry and go for blood test Mon. He did tell me originally that the minute I think I;m pregnant I should start the Lovenox. I started it when my levels were only42!!! Good luck to you.
1838380 tn?1329874153 It is tricky to look solely on success rates for a couple of reasons. First of all, "success" can be defined differently by different clinics. For example, does it mean pregnancy was achieved (not taking into account early losses) or does it mean live births?
1215867 tn?1267991628 I want to do the ablation, but the EP said that it doesnt always work. How many people usually have success rates? Next I have SVT, people that have this do they experience both PVC's and PAC's? I have come to realize the less active that I am the less palpitations that I have, why is that? I traveled the 7 hrs to Cleveland Clinic well worth the drive. If anyone needs a good E.P. or Cardiologist they have the best and they do help with travel; and lodging if needed.
Avatar n tn Anyone taking Lovenox? Im 9 weeks and between the lovenox and the prenat vit I feel groggy all the time..just wondering if lovenox makes you feel bad..
287479 tn?1272730364 Turns out I have a bloody clotting disorder. I got pregnant again (and started the Lovenox injections) and everything was going well until last week. I began having spotting. My hcg was increasing, but my progesterone dropped quickly and I lost the baby. My husband and I are giving this one more shot. My doctor wants to start me on Clomid next month, along with one baby aspirin a day and and folic acid until I get pregnant.
Avatar f tn Lots and lots of it. Enough for a pad, as well as cramping. I thought for sure my pregnancy was ending. I called my husband to come home from work. He drove me to my perinatologist where they did an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed a well formed gestational sac, a fetal pole, and a strong heartbeat. No ectopic, no molar, no blighted ovum. Everything looks normal. I had been taking lovenox for a protein S deficiency with factor V mutation.
1524811 tn?1333241301 I've been on Lovenox for the last 12 weeks of my pregnancy (I'm 22 1/2 weeks now)...my baby has been fine. They just watch both of us a little closer. I'm not sure if the doctor told you but, Lovenox is pretty much the only blood thinner you can take that does not pass through your placenta. I guess for me, I had to weigh the risks of not taking the shot vs what "might" happen.
Avatar n tn I also have the same issue. My IGM first came back borderline and then the 2nd 2 tests were just slightly positive. I don't have any history of miscarriages. I'm on 40mg Lovenox a day and have been spotting brown blood for past 2 weeks. I have heard Lovenox causes bleeding. I don't think I need to be on Lovenox. My Rhemetologist said some docs would think Lovenox is necessary while other docs would think I wouldn't need Lovenox.
Avatar f tn I don't know the actual success rates but I got pregnant on the first FET that we did and now have a 16 month old son... We are going to do another FET tomorrow. ..
1414636 tn?1288284680 I've used lovenox with my last pregnancy and with this pregnancy due to a blood clotting disorder. Lovenox is perfectly safe. does not cross the placenta but thins the blood just enough and very evenly to prevent blood clots. there are no side effects except maybe I bruised slightly easier.
