Avatar n tn Hi I don't know I am just a lay person but I would be cautious about using any sleep medication with untreated sleep apnea. I wonder if your symptoms are the result of the sleep apnea vs the medication. Disturbed sleep can leave you feeling tired and low oxygen saturation levels could explain poor memory. I don't know of any long-term effects of Remeron. I have read that increased blood fats could pose a risk for some people though. This is said to be rare.
Avatar f tn I tried to get off of it and I was back in bed again in pain and extremely fatigued. I decided quality of life was better than quantity. What are the long term effects of its use? Is it possible that it may trigger Alzheimer's?

My pain since getting off of the morph has been on and off and at the end of last month my primary doc prescribed me the 50 mcg/hr fent since my pain had been getting worse and he wanted to try this because I'm about to leave for a masters program because without pain meds, I am basically non-functioning.

Eventually, I decided to titrate off the stimulate medication, after which I become fairly certain that there was a direct correlation between taking stimulants and reduced libido.

Avatar m tn Dear whoever may know, I was diagnosed with anxiety and panic disorder 2 1/2 years ago, and I have been taking Lexapro at 10 mg per day ever since. The medicine has really seemed to have helped my life in all aspects. Whether it has really helped or if this is some kind of placebo effect, I am unsure. I still have moments of reasonable stress at work, but who doesn't...most importantly, I don't have panic attacks anymore.
