I do know that all to often things like this are not listed as side effects. The problem is that the doctors and or patients do not report them and so they too often get looked over as is the case here. I am sure there are many documented cases they just are not reported. I am not sure what the protocol is far as doctors reporting side effects but we as Pt's can call the pharmaceutical company and report effects. this will help many.

My question is does the morphine make you really nauseated and throw up. The last few days the side effects have slowed down, but I would still like to hear some suggestions from people in the forum.

Hello, Fatigue and dry mouth and dyspepsia are frequent side effects of Vesicare but it is unlikely to cause any sore throat. Your sore throat can be due to some viral infection. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day and use over-the-counter throat lozenges. Salt water gargle is also a good way to relieve a sore throat. In addition, you can take anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen and paracetamol (acetaminophen) after consulting your general physician.

I just googled Avastin side effects are there are many sites that have lots of info on there. Also, you could google the manufacturer or ask your oncology center for some fact sheets.... Just a thought.

With HCV treatment people react differently. Some people have very few side effects. Cancer chemo seems much more brutal to me but HCV tx is no walk in the park either. I would way it's a matter of how you perceive it. To me it's chemical antiviral therapy treatment....covers all the bases.

I had a dosage of 125 mCi, 10 days ago, and a thyroidectomy due to papillary thyroid cancer with tall cells. I was also diagnosed with Breast cancer 3 years ago, and had a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery and I'm doing fine from that but this thyroid cancer has really thrown me because of the Hashimoto's and the depressed hypo state I'm in I'm finder this cancer harder to cope with. I recently had a cyst removed about the size of a grape from my left ovary, however when we went into surgery my dr found one the size of my uterus behind my uterus attached to my right ovary. As a result due to shape n size n history my dr removed my rt ovary. I cannot go on birth control since I've had breast cancer 2 yrs before. I'm currently 37. & feel the effects of hot flashes. Yes those patches are bad news honey when my mom found out she had cancer after other meds near end treatment they gave her the patches and she only took them for month and half and she had all kinds of side effects from them and when she tried to come off she had a very hard time bad w/d's. Chills, body aches, fever or flu like symptoms are all normal side effects of interferon. High doses of vicodin means you're getting a high dose of acetaminophen which can be very liver unfriendly. Those with hepc should not exceed 2000 mg of acetaminophen daily. If you must use pain management drugs for an existing condition perhaps you should talk to your doctor about prescribing something without acetaminophen such as a low dose oxycodone or Tramadol.
