I see these color blobs that move in my vision that shouldn’t be there, they don’t show any connection to stimuli so I don’t have synesthesia. I’m on levetiracetam aka keppra and clobazam aka onfi. When I was on oxcarbazepine (trileptal) and levetiracetam (keppra) I started having these weird headaches where I would lose my vision, hearing, smell, and coordination, but I could still speak and feel. The doctors are pretty much stumped. Has anyone ever had a situation like this?
1. What is the LOWEST effective dose for a 100 lb girl (age 20). For example, could we actually leave her at the 250 mg at night and 125 mg in the morning? 250 mg. at night only? 500 mg at night only? Can she end up with just nightly doses? 2. What are, if any, POSITIVE side effects with keppra (i.e. lamictral can actually HELP with bipolar disorder). 3. Will the fatigue eventually go away as she is on it longer? 4.
I am an Indian Citizen living in the US. I have been taking LEVETIRACETAM (to control partial-onset seizures) since 2011. Currently, I am in perfect health conditions. As a precautionary medicine, I get the medicine from India either myself or through a friend/family member traveling between India and the US. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, I am running short of medicine. I have my prescription and medical certificates to support my condition.

When did the sexual problems start. was it before or after starting your medication? These meds may be causing the problem. I did look them up and there was not anything in the side effects category that mentioned this problem. But, these meds can be very sedating and they do work on the central nervous system.
I take it your using them to control seizures? The Phenobarbital has a very long half life, meaning it stays in the system for a long time. Your taking a pretty high dose.
can levetiracetam 750mg (2 2 times a day) be taken with amlodipine 10mg (1 time a day) and albuterol 90mcg (2 pumps 4 times a day). Can these be mixed? I this too much medicine?
Fluconazole is an antifungal and one pill stays in the blood stream for 3 days. It is normal to take a 'loading dose' the first time which helps get a jump start on the infection. I would take it as the doctor directed.

He gets an injection every 2-3 weeks as needed....I never wait a month as then you have lost the effect of the loading dose.....However, there are many that give it at 5-6 weeks faithfully & it seems to work...Again, each dog is different....
My Vet sells me the liquid Adequan and Syringes....I give the injections myself...This saves a tremendous amount of money!!!! I buy about 10 doses at a time for around $50.....
Most Vets are willing to do this for their clients......

I'm going to be having 3 stents inserted into my arteries in a couple of weeks time. My specialist (who will be carrying out the procedure) has asked me to take 600mg of clopigdogrel and 600mg of asprin the night before the procedure, and I'm a bit worried about doing this.
Is it normal practice?
I currently take 75mg of clopidogrel every day.
Hi, my endocrinologist recommended to my doctor that I should be taking 20,000IU vitamin D loading dose over 7 weeks for level of 25 nmol/L. Being on 1600IU suddenly failed to improve my level after years of being on 800IU.
Ranges:
(75 adequate)
To 49 nmol/L, what it is now.
Should it be higher than this?

After a relatively brief (1 min) insertive unprotected oral experience with unknown, promiscuous woman in the US, I started a 7 day course of doxyline (2 x 100mg daily) just about 1,5 hour after the experience (200 mg loading dose as first dose). Would this prophylactic intervention also prevent incubating syphilis? If not, how long would I need to get a reliable test answer on a modern IgG/IgM syphilis test after termination of doxy treatment?
At this point of time he is not able to speak more than two words in a row. His Hb is 8.9. He is on valporate, topiramate and levetiracetam. His MRI scan revealed "Assymetric Right Temporal Horn prominence without any difinite evidence of mesial scerosis"
His walking pattern is also erratic. Most often he adopts "Toe Walking". When he walks slowly, which is rare, he walks alright. Always he tries to rush up and runs in an imbalancing manner.
Hi there, the various side effects with keppra or levetiracetam are dizziness, irritability, tiredness, fatigue, severe allergic reactions, extreme dizziness, drowsiness, weakness or tiredness, memory loss, behavior changes like aggression, panic attacks, restlessness, new or worsening seizures etc. in the period immediately after a seizure attack, it could be the post ictal phase or confusion. Consult your neurologist for your evaluation and change of anti epileptic medication. Hope this helps.
What would cause a mother's loss of blood pressure, and subsequent drop in the unborn baby's heart rate, immediately upon the injection of an epidural if no loading dose (i.e. bolus) was given?
The amount of drugs injected over, let's say, 10 minutes would be 10 times that given in the first minute. So why would blood pressure drop so drastically in the first minute but not over the next 10?
