I'm not saying I magically function as effectively as a programmer or math whiz when I'm off adderall, The key, in my very personal experience, for kicking this habit (which I am still dedicated to doing) is
to teach yourself that you can achieve just as
well without it.
In other words Yes, the beginning is rough. But once you start feeling like a 'normal' person again, meaning you can handle basic tasks, maintain relationships, and act normal, you've taken a HUGE step.
