Now a week later I am having lots of pain in my right hand. The pain goes from the spot where the needle was to my thumb, index, and middle finger. Should I be seen by a doctor for this?

s no swelling. My wrist pops easily. The central knuckles of my index finger, middle finger and ring finger all hurt. The index finger also hurt a few days at the base, but stopped. Hello, for the past couple months, the tip of the index finger of my left hand (I am right-handed) has been overly sensitive to pressure. When I use my hand normally, my fingertip feels like I hit it with a hammer. When I rest my hand, the pain subsides in about an hour. I've also been waking up with pain in this finger. When I am walking my index finger isn't wrapped around the handle but out stretched along the handle so it is getting a lot of stress with each step. About three years ago my pinky finger bent without pain, I went to the doctor and he had an X-ray made, but he could not tell me what it was he only said it had fluid build up on top of the joint, but that it was not arthritis. There was nothing he could do, so my finger is still bent with no pain. There are just some things the doctors have no answer for. Just to let you know you are not alone.

My problem is that my index finger falls asleep when I write or even scroll with a computer mouse. Even when I exercise the index finger starts tingling.
