I am attaching pics of both the hands. The index finger lesion looks like she picked the skin but I am freaked out about the one on middle finger. Please let me know if this herpetic whitlow.

ve developed a strange symptom the last 3 days where my just the tops of my index, middle and ring fingers are in excuriating pain...no swelling, no redness - nothing....just pain...I feel I'm on the verge of a relapse - where my legs and face are getting painful, etc., but not full fledge yet. Could this be
attributed to my MS ?
Do you have numbness of the index finger along with the pain? if yes, it could be carpal tunnel syndrome as it involves index finger mainly.
Another possibility is of Raynaud’s phenomenon which is constriction of the blood vessels of the fingers and toes. But it is accompanied by skin color changes.
Apply ice compresses over the finger. You can also take OTC pain killers. They should help. Also get your blood sugar levels evaluated.
When scalene muscle is the cause of pain, the pain is referred chest, inner lining of scapula, shoulder, posterior and lateral sides of the arm right up to the thumb and index finger. My father received acupuncture in Oct - Nov 07. After his third week of treatment, his right index finger became extremely swolen, about 2 - 3 times the size. Painful to the tough, couldn't bend it. My question is regarding the first joint of my right hand index finger. I believe it is called the proximal interphalangeal joint.
The joint has been very sensitive to the touch for a few weeks with no sign of abating. The joint also hurts a little if I bend it fully, but not nearly as much as if I just touch it with a little pressure.
I do not see any outward signs of injury. It is not red or swollen. I have no similar pains in any other fingers or joints.
Back in March I was holding a little girl that was standing on my lap and she lost her balance and squatted down. My hand was behind her knee and my right index finger popped and then hurt really bad for awhile. I assumed it would go away and it didn't. A few days later I went to urgent care. two weeks ago my middle finger on my left hand started to peel at the tip and just on top of the finger knuckle. a day or two later another peeling spot appeared on the side of my left index finger. I haven't noticed any other peeling areas on my hands other than these two spots although I am now fixating on them to te extent that I am starting to see things lol

mainly on middle, ring, little finger for both hands and on my left hand the thumb. Also, my hands fall asleep when i am sleeping that has caused me to wake up. Also, I have be awoken by both of my ring fingers spasmed closed, which was very painful. This started about 1 month ago. No new medication or change of habits have occurred. I have noticed a peculiar pattern how it initiates. I feel a part of finger is little painful (pain like needle at one spot and pain is relieved when I press the affected area). After few days there will be a slight growth of that affected area, it becomes dry and cracked.
I always like to apply moisturiser as it feels very dry on the affected area of the finger

Had a massage with masseur. Few hours back, had a cut on finger (index finger by plastic wrap sheet), which bled and put a band aid for 2 hours and then removed it. but the cut is not completely healed but no active bleeding.
She was fully clothed but I had to hold her hands during massage several times.
also, she shook hands with me several occasions touching the cut.
Later came home then realized the cut, and checked it, its completely healed but looks reddish open wound.
