Hormone therapy is really not reccomended after batteling cancer,,,ask your Dr his opinion of a herbal called Black Kosch it is known to be good for hot flashes do NOT take it without his permission, I have no idea if it is safe for you or not.

s also very unlikely that natural hormone treatment would cause this kind of problem, depending on what you mean by natural hormone treatment. There are herbal treatments, and then there are treatments synthetically manufactured by an ingredient in the Mexican wild yam. These were the original hormone treatments. They are close to natural, but are still synthesized, but are much closer to human hormones than the much stronger ones invented later.

I'd missed 3 periods in a row when I started taking it, then about a month after, I got a small period, then 2 weeks after that, I'm pretty sure I ovulated normally. We'll see in another week if I get a period (or a positive pregnancy test).

There is no substitute for thyroid hormone treatment in your case -- would try to be consistent with synthroid for best results.

I was told that it was a hormone-balance problem, so I starting taking Estroven, Dandolin, and Damania herbal supplements as well as a women's multivitamin. I stopped taking my protein supplement after being told that it can deplete your calcium adsorption. I am scheduled to see my OB/GYN and Ortho doctors next month. Someone even mentioned a parasite because the metallic taste started after swimming in our pool . . . too many of "The Monsters Within" episodes. HELP!!
