Common Questions and Answers about Heat bumps symptoms

heat

Hello, From the symptoms they sound like sweat dermatitis or heat rash/prickly heat.Prickly heat (miliaria) is an itchy skin rash caused by trapped sweat. It tends to occur on areas of the body where skin touches skin, such as under the breasts, on the inner thighs, and under the arms. Tiny red spots with itching and pricking sensation are the characteristic appearance of this rash. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime.
From the symptoms it can be contact dermatitis, allergic reaction, heat rash or viral rashes. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort. For the itching antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin can be taken.
Hey A couple of months ago i started noticing real little bumps on my pubic area on the shaft. Fearing the worst i talked with a nurse and had a std test done. She was sure that i didnt have symptoms for a std but i did the test anyway. It came back negative. I talked with a friend and she said it was a heat rash and talking with the nurse she said it might be a tropical rash as well. I have been putting lotion on the area do u have any suggestions ??
Hey doc, figured it was time to ask. I've had small bumps in the genital region for quite some time now, extending up the shaft ONLY and only on the sides and bottoms. They are almost identical in color to the rest of the surrounding skin, sometimes slightly red. When i pinch a bump they push out a white semi-solid chunk of...I have no clue. They are quite numerous and grow where hair doesn't. Any ideas?
I've had these little bumps on my neck a couple of years now there very small and looks like they are filled with fluid. It looks just like a heat rash, thats what i thought it was at first. It itches very bad when i get hot. It was'nt that many before but now it's spreading all over my neck and itches more often. It has become very noticeable.
I would treat the itch with a lotion like Benadryl, and do nothing more unless you get many more bumps or other symptoms. Have a nice vacation. Best. Dr.

Cholinergic urticaria is a subcategory of physical urticaria ( hives) that is a skin rash brought on by a hypersensitive reaction to body heat. Symptoms follow any stimulus to sweat such as exercise (sometimes called exercise-induced urticaria), heat from the sun (which could also indicate solar urticaria), saunas, hot showers. The visible hives (sometimes called heat bumps) appear as a multitude of small 2-3 mm welts typically surrounded by patches of red skin.
Four or five days ago I noticed my vagina getting extremely itchy and painful. Then, i noticed two bumps on the outside of my lips on my vagina, and a lot of redness. It seems as though it's swollen too, but I'm not positive. Two days ago, multiple little red bumps appeared on my inner thigh which didn't hurt but burned, especially if I'm walking around. There are bumps similar to these all over my vagina and near my butt cheeks. I am sexually active, but monogamous.
The skin will become red and blotchy and bumps will pop up. The rash will also come with embarrassment, anger, frustration, etc. I'm currently taking anti-histamines but I don't think they're working, I've yet to see a change in my condition. If you know what it is, or know any possible cures. Please let me know. The rash is so bad that I can't function, I can't attend school, I can't continue my job and I can't drive.
(not her, her birth) After she was born, I noticed on my first hike that my arms and torso were covered with itchy bumps. Looks like miliaria (prickly heat rash) It goes away within an hour after exercising. Anytime I heat up, it comes out. And then goes away. I use natural detergents and soaps, have a relatively healthy diet. All the online info I can find seems to suggest prevention of heat as a solution. That is not possible, or realistic.
It looks like pimples. I have looked up pictures of herpes and heat rashes, and It looks like a heat rash. If it is heat rash what can I do to get rid of it? Also idk if this has anything to do with it, but I am prone to yeast and bacterial infections. Could it be yeast bumps??
The first time, I though I may have had Chlamydia for I was having symptoms similar to that condition. However, the test came back negative and the doctor chalked it up to mild trauma from sexual intercourse. The second scare is current. Not but a day after our last sexual encounter, I experienced a few, red little bumps around my pubic area, almost like tiny little pimples. They are very spread out and sparse and all exist where there is some pubic hair.
Without examination it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but the symptoms are suggestive of prickly heat(malaria) or sweat dermatitis. Does Prickly Heat rash form whiteheads, I woke up this morning with a rash on my upper chest (above pecs) and upper back (triangle between neck and shoulder blades). The chest is just red bumps the back on the other hand is quite raised and has hundreds (not kidding) of whiteheads, it is not terribly itchy but I definitely can tell something is going on back there. I presume it is Prickly Heat as I moved to S.
Hello, During exercise, about 90% of the time, I will develop some sort of heat rash on my arms, the back of my hands, and possibly on my torso, although I'm usually wearing a shirt while exercising and I don't really check. The rash on my arms and hands comprises of small, red spots, and is usually on the underside of my arms (and the back of my hands). Sometimes, I have small, flesh-coloured bumps as well, which are quite itchy.

The onset of my symptoms happened only a couple of days after my last sexual encounter. I kind of doubt that it's an STD because even syphilis has a incubation period of at least 9 days. I did notice before most of my bumps on my thigh surfaced that there was a very inflamed pimple like bump. After the inflammation went down in that one pimple and started to heal a couple of days later bumps near my groin started to pop up.
I have had intermittent tingling at times, but it hasn't been heat related. So, in my case, heat makes certain symptoms worse, and it does so almost immediately. My Lyme + Bart mimiced MS to a certain degree, including the heat sensitivity. P.S. I got mine in Queensland.
I thought it might go away, and my doctor tested me for infections and parasites once upon a time, but it hasn't gone away and I have no idea what it is. I'm thinking that it might be some sort of heat rash type thing, but if this is the case, there's really nothing I can do about it, right?? I avoid swimming or going in a hot tub because of this, and it's really irritating.

but on top of that I have chronic hives..which is whole another story. i think the heat rash it some sort of hives actually....i've had the form you have all my life. it's just how your body is built. i have pretty sensitive skin and just driving in the heat brings out red blotchy on my chest. when i take really hot showers i get them where my skin is thin. if your itchiness is really bad try putting really thick lotion on. i know it's frustrating to hear that you have to live with it...
Mine tend to appear in the same spot on my shins, but over the years more of the redness has spread higher up my legs. The heat areas don't hurt, no bumps, warm to the touch, about the size of a poker chip, and the surrounding skin does NOT turn blue or pale. I've been an active person my entire life, I go to the gym 3 times a week and play tennis, so they usually appear while I'm hot/overheated.
Okay so while I was showering on last wednesday on 6/02 I noticed bumps on my butt cheeks. They are rather small and non clustered though there are far more on one side than the other. They are increased in amount since wednesday and I have continued to monitor them.
By the end of 2010, my rashes die down mostly but my skin looks like I have goose bumps. Now I get a stinging sensation whenever my body gets hot. When I'm under the sun, when I exercise, or when I drink, my body (especially my back) stings. My body gets itchy sometimes and I find white bumps (like mosquito bite but white) but they disappear within a day. I have rheumatoid arthritis since 2002 and I've been taking plaquenil from the beginning. I've been taking sprintec for at least 5 years.
