Is there any home remedies for heart burn i have it constantly and dont think i can cope another 16 weeks with it

Having heartburn like crazy right now what can I do at home to help like right now plz help??

My heartburn has gotten so bad!!! I have been trying tums and rolaids. I don't eat anything spicy or anything that used to give me heartburn, but it is terrible. The acid burns so bad it hurts in my chest and keeps jumping up and hitting the back of my throat!! I called the doc earlier, but he never called me back, so I don't know what else I can take that is safe.

A spoonful of baking soda in a cup of water..

I drink soy milk (in general) but it helps quite a bit. Calcium is what you want to help relieve it. Thats really all tums are but they dont help me. Silk has 50% more calcium in it than milk does.

As far as 'avoiding' it is concerned, your stomach is being pushed out of position and there is nothing to do to change that, short of having the baby. Some women simply do get extreme heartburn from this involuntary repositioning of their internal arrangement, others (the lucky ones) don't. As as far as treating the symptom, ask your ob-gyn for a list of approved heartburn meds (don't take just anything, ask your doc or your pharmacist).

My doctor prescribed me Zantac for my heartburn it works great bye bye heartburn...

Do you ladies have any home remedies for heartburn? It doesn't matter what I eat it always seems to come up and it hurts. I've tried tums and nada I just need some relief fast!!! Oh and I'm 37+1 weeks.

When i do get heartburn and take one it takes a little while to kick in but then no sign of heartburn for the rest of the day . watch what you eat and one pill may last two days.

I don't have heartburn but my friend has terrible heartburn and is drinking ginger with lemon. She peeled ginger. Cut it up. Slice lemon and boiled it then put it in the fridge. Also added honey in it. It also took away her nausea.

I use shots of apple cider vinegar. Helps speed up digestion. Otherwise, the heartburn is awful.

I usually just drink a glass of cold milk

I am 10 weeks pregnant and my heartburn is out of control. I try taking tums and rolaids but for some reason they make me very nauseous. Does anyone have any other remedies to get rid of heart burn? Any advice would be nice.

Im looking for answers. For 2 years I had continuous stomach pain, heartburn and chest pains. I was seen numerous times in the ER when the pain got to bad. Everytime I was told there was nothing wrong. Finally one doctor decided to do a hida scan and found I had a low function gallbladder. it was only 17%. In November I had my gallbladder removed. I had a lot of pain and the heartburn instantly returned.. and I would get nauseas with one bite of food.

Anyone else have heartburn/acid reflux so bad that you threw up?

Fresh Grapefruit works wonders reliving Heartburn and indigestion. I eat one a day. The relief last all day, if I get to busy and forget to eat one, its not a problem because it prevents the return for several days. Try it, I doubt you will ever worry about Heartburn ever again.
