However, several weeks ago I developed a bad sinus infection and along with it I started to have green/yellow discharge coming out of my right eye, which has since spread to both. I was given a strong dose of antibiotics for the sinus infection along with eye drops to combat the eye infection. Unfortunately, the drops and antibiotics has not stopped the discharge from my eye(s). I have seen an eye doctor and he said I don't have an eye infection.
While bloody discharge is never normal, colored discharge might mean amongst many noncancerous conditions- pregnancy, duct ectasias, fibrocystic disease(especially if there is lump), and Galactorrhea(relating to medicines and hormones). So many of the conditions as you well can see are not serious, yet it is required that you consult your doc right away and get an ultrasound and mammogram, as required. Best wishes.
Green discharge from any area means INFECTION! When caught early, eye infections are easy to treat....If left too long without treatment, it will spread to both eyes and can create more serious problems down the road....Even just scratching the inflamed eyes can lead to other eye ailments..... Please get her into your Vet tomorrow and have this treated.......DO NOT use any OTC products on her eyes...She MUST have prescription ones from your Vet...Good luck and let us know how she is....
My English Springer Spaniel puppy of 15 weeks has had a slight discharge from her eys for the last couple of days. The discharge is a yellow/green colour. One eye is worse than other. They're not so bad in the day but they need to be wiped in the morning and evening more. The eyes themselves look quite red. I've assumed its an type of conjunctivitis??? I've been bathing each eye regularly and seperately in cooled boiled water. Will it clear it's self up with good constant care?
redness is gone and discharge crystallized then went away for awhile. The discharge is back. white, yellow or green in color. when it is white in color you will see it go across eye to inner corner. eyes r watery and itchy. There is no redness or swelling. No other health problems. Just the eyes. What is it and how do i get rid of it?
i have recently been experiencing some browny green discharge from my breasts... it's not directly from my nipple.... it's actually coming from *around* the nipple (the pink area surronding the nipple) i'm not totally sure what to think of this... but i would like maybe a little information about it.
Today the 24th- My urination seems to be the same, uncomfortable but not as bad as it was on my flight. My left eye is still red, but has not worsened, and there was a slight yellowish /greenish discharge in the tear duct(I believe signaling a bacterial infection) when I woke up. Discharge seems to be that of left over urine dribbles that linger after I go to the bathroom, but not clear and thick nor yellow , white, or green. So I am a bit frazzled here! 1.
Maybe a yeast infection? I had green discharge as well and it didnt start hurting and itching till about a week or two later so I had no idea they were related but that is one of the signs of one. It could just be nothing though too. Just keep an eye on it. Good luck!

I have not personally gone through IVF yet, but I have heard a lot of people talk about having discharge (even bloody discharge) and still come out being Preggo! so not sure exactly what it means, but I do know that it could be a good sign!!! Good luck, i'm hoping this one does the trick, when do you test?? I'll be praying for you that you get your BFP soon!
I got this from a web site DIFFERNT TYPES OF DISCHARGE White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection. Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating. Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.
When my now 15yr old was your sons age and younger, she would get awful green discharge that was passed off as pink eye or clogged tear duct but in both eyes; turned out to be severe food allergy but not life threatening that lasted for about 6 yrs ... severe intolerance to 12 of 16 foods tested for and would scream with pain in the abdomen from cramps, too. Pls. let us know what they find out? Only one though .. odd ...
I had strep throat after my ex and I broke up in Feb and took Antibiotics to cure it and mentioned to my actual Doctor that I was having this discharge and she said to keep an eye on it and all that. She said she didn't think it was serious, but I still have it so it's bugging me. I like, have no odor or anything. Taste wise, (sorry to load this on you lol) is a little on the sour side. I have a fine diet and it wasn't tasting like this when I was with my ex.. He would have said something..
If you have a bacterial infection in your eye the discharge will be yellow or green in which case you need a doctor as well to clear this up. I hope this is helpful to you.
And, pink eye is highly contagious and most parents would probably be thankful that you were careful enough to keep her home (if your daughter was going and you saw another child with pink eye there, even if it was being treated with drops, I think you would wish the parent had erred on the safe side and kept the child home).
My daughter was born with a watery eye that also has a lot of green/yellowish discharge coming from the corner by the nose, doctor has given drops and a course of antibiotics but neither have cleared it up, my daughter is now 3 months old. Is there anyone out there that may have suggestions of what this could be or has suffered a similar thing?
2 weeks ago Bruce started exhibiting symptoms of pink eye - discharge, crusties on the eye, the eye being pink.... It was $45 just to go see the vet so I found some alternate ideas on the internet (what in particular we did was washing the eye with a warm cloth 1 time a day and then with contact solution 1 time a day).
She has had it for about 2 weeks now. Her acual eye looks fine but, she has a green discharge coming from her eye. She can open her eye but, she mainly keeps it closed. I don't see any swollen tissue in or around her eye. I was going to put "Equate's" version on neosporen on her eye because I read online someones vet said it has the same ingrediants as a medication they use for their eyes. I can't remember the name of that meication though. I was thinking she has a cold in her eye.
My dogs symptoms are brown sticky drainage from left eye that gets crusty. I was told by Vet to use overnight Dry Eye lubricant. The discharge has never been green or yellow so I don't think there is a secondary infection. Right eye is perfect. Dog is blinking from damaged eye. I'm thinking his condition is due to residual affects from his horner's and he has not completely returned to normal. I do have an appointment april 6th but would prefer just treating him at home if I could.
