Green discharge from eye

Common Questions and Answers about Green discharge from eye

Avatar n tn However, several weeks ago I developed a bad sinus infection and along with it I started to have green/yellow discharge coming out of my right eye, which has since spread to both. I was given a strong dose of antibiotics for the sinus infection along with eye drops to combat the eye infection. Unfortunately, the drops and antibiotics has not stopped the discharge from my eye(s). I have seen an eye doctor and he said I don't have an eye infection.
Avatar f tn While bloody discharge is never normal, colored discharge might mean amongst many noncancerous conditions- pregnancy, duct ectasias, fibrocystic disease(especially if there is lump), and Galactorrhea(relating to medicines and hormones). So many of the conditions as you well can see are not serious, yet it is required that you consult your doc right away and get an ultrasound and mammogram, as required. Best wishes.

Avatar f tn my English Springer Spaniel puppy of 15 weeks has had a slight discharge from her eys for the last couple of days. The discharge is a yellow/green colour. One eye is worse than other. They're not so bad in the day but they need to be wiped in the morning and evening more. The eyes themselves look quite red. I've assumed its an type of conjunctivitis??? I've been bathing each eye regularly and seperately in cooled boiled water. Will it clear it's self up with good constant care?

Avatar f tn Your description about tear duct having pressure and material being blown back from the tear duct into the eye suggests you should see an oculoplastic surgeon for a determination if your tear ducts are partially or completely blocked.
1774317 tn?1314229650 i have recently been experiencing some browny green discharge from my breasts... it's not directly from my nipple.... it's actually coming from *around* the nipple (the pink area surronding the nipple) i'm not totally sure what to think of this... but i would like maybe a little information about it.
Avatar m tn Today the 24th- my urination seems to be the same, uncomfortable but not as bad as it was on my flight. my left eye is still red, but has not worsened, and there was a slight yellowish /greenish discharge in the tear duct(I believe signaling a bacterial infection) when I woke up. Discharge seems to be that of left over urine dribbles that linger after I go to the bathroom, but not clear and thick nor yellow , white, or green. So I am a bit frazzled here! 1.

Avatar f tn He seems to be getting better--is more active and squints less. Today, I noticed a little bit of discharge under the eye. it's clear/goopy, but there wasn't much of it. I cleaned around his eye with a cotton ball. He's sleeping on the couch right now. We've had some terrible vet experiences lately, including two unnecessary surgeries for one of our other cats, so we're a little vet shy.

Increasing redness of the eye or eyelids. A gray or white sore on the colored part of the eye (iris). Fever with no other cause. 353148 tn?1293064764 I have not personally gone through IVF yet, but I have heard a lot of people talk about having discharge (even bloody discharge) and still come out being Preggo! so not sure exactly what it means, but I do know that it could be a good sign!!! Avatar n tn I got this from a web site DIFFERNT TYPES of DisCHARGE White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection. Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating. Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.
Avatar n tn When my now 15yr old was your sons age and younger, she would get awful green discharge that was passed off as pink eye or clogged tear duct but in both eyes; turned out to be severe food allergy but not life threatening that lasted for about 6 yrs ... severe intolerance to 12 of 16 foods tested for and would scream with pain in the abdomen from cramps, too. Avatar f tn I have had some pain while urinating a wiping and green discharge. I will be at the doctor Monday to confirm. However this is my really issue. I took a bath with my one year old tonight. I used a small towel to clean my lady parts and not thinking just let it float in the water. I turn my head to pull another small towel out because my daughter likes to chew on them. When I turned back around she was sucking on the towel I just used!! Can she get the bacteria this way?
1405456 tn?1281131839 I had strep throat after my ex and I broke up in Feb and took Antibiotics to cure it and mentioned to my actual Doctor that I was having this discharge and she said to keep an eye on it and all that. She said she didn't think it was serious, but I still have it so it's bugging me. I like, have no odor or anything. Taste wise, (sorry to load this on you lol) is a little on the sour side. I have a fine diet and it wasn't tasting like this when I was with my ex.. He would have said something..
Avatar f tn And, pink eye is highly contagious and most parents would probably be thankful that you were careful enough to keep her home (if your daughter was going and you saw another child with pink eye there, even if it was being treated with drops, I think you would wish the parent had erred on the safe side and kept the child home).
Avatar m tn If you have a bacterial infection in your eye the discharge will be yellow or green in which case you need a doctor as well to clear this up. I hope this is helpful to you.
