Avatar n tn I HAVE AN ORDER IN MY PEE THAT I DONT EVER REMEMBER HAVEING, I HAD A YEAST INFECTION ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND GOT SOME MEDS AND YET I STILL HAVE A SMELL. IS IT YEAST OR A SOMTHING ELSE?
Avatar f tn The last time I had sex with this person was in mid to late September. I also got severe flu-like symptoms which accompanied my period in July, August, and September. I thought this could be early symptoms of HIV so I got tested on October 19th. The results came back negative but I know there is a three month window. Within the last month or so I've also developed thrush and swollen tonsils.
Avatar f tn Just curious. Btw I'm 32 weeks and still haven't taken my glucose test!
Avatar n tn Have you had a fasting glucose test yet to check for glucose intolerance or diabetes? I do not know enough to comment on all of your questions, but I thought I would address the issue of "smelly mucus in my mouth after eating sugar." This could be a problem with too much yeast in your digestive system. It can cause a white or yellow or even dark growth on the tongue that tastes and even smells bad. Yeast feeds on sugar, so it will grow very quickly when you put sugar in your mouth.
2003871 tn?1336168469 If you have reoccurring yeast infections that can be a sign of diabetes, however yeast infections can easily occur without diabetes. So, get tested for glucose blood levels but you might want to talk to your dr about other causes.
Avatar n tn Hi. Did they ever check for yeast infection? Most likely yes. If you eat a diet high in sugar can sometimes cause imbalance of good vs bad bacteria. One great product that has helped many women with itchiness of the vagina is taking probiotocs daily.many doctors nowadays prescribe or recommend woman take probiotics after taking antibiotics in order to balance things out again. I even inserted a few probitics into my vagina to help get rid of yeast infection. Plus I take it everyday.
Avatar m tn Hi Iris~I am not too familiar with the vegetarian form of B12, I have always been under the impression that B12 is best when it is derived from sources such as liver. The one non-meat form of B12 that I DO know of and I take myself, is in the form of "Brewers yeast" Brewers Yeast has ALL the B vitamins in it, not to mention the amino acids, and the Glucose Tolerance Factor mineral, Chromium. I love how it tastes, I put it on my cottage cheese and I just love it.
Avatar m tn I am 20 week and I been having frequent (3 yeast) infection the doc prescribe a yest infection pill and said if i have another yeast infection she will have to test to see if i have an std. With the yest infection everything cleared up but the strong odor. my question is: if it was trichomoniasis would the yest infecton pill have ANY affect on the symptoms that trichomoniasis have. Everything is gone but the bad smell. It is not as bad but it is still there.

Avatar m tn There is a connection between diabetes and reoccurring yeast infections, if you continue with this please ask your doctor to do a fasting glucose test. I hope this helps. Please keep me posted.
Avatar n tn Dear Newly diagnosed diabetic, I too for years had symptoms, excessive thirst, excessive urination, multiple yeast infections, blurred vision, glucose tolerance test were all negative, blood sugar tests were within normal limits. I thought I was very lucky not to be a diabetic, but what was causing all these symptoms?
Avatar m tn Looking at the slides, he said that it does appear to be yeast but not a common strain. Normally the yeast has a couple of arms but the yeast I have has many and is similar to a bunch of grapes. My body does not see it as foreign and is not attacking it. The next step is for my Dr. to make an appointment with a microbiologist that specializes in yeast. My Dr. will show the slides and hopefully they can identify the strain in order to determine the drug to eliminate it.
519035 tn?1348275773 The fatigue, gastrointestinal problems, and cravings for sweets are *definitely* a sign of die-off. Have you been checking your blood glucose? Sometimes yeast can be an indicator of sugar issues and they tend to go hand-in-hand with thyroid problems. Yes, drink lots of water! Try some yogurt too with active cultures - there are quite a few now that will help increase the good flora in your GI tract. Stay away from carbs for a while too.
Avatar f tn Most yogurt that buy has some sort of sugar in it that will only feed the yeast. You can get the same lactobacillus from a pro biotic if you are that in need of something. But my advice is that there's something else causing that issue to occur, and you need to figure out what is it is. It's usually a chemical or something along with the increase in glucose your body producys from being pregant. (Sugar).
