I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT!
Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
Urinary tract (which consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra) infections are very common in young women. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever.

My 18 year old son is having similiar problems. Started 3 months ago. Worse during the day (when sitting). His urinalysis (4 of them) comes back clear with no infection. He's had an ultra-sound that also came back fine.
He's gone to two urologist (we didn't like the first one) and both called it Dysuria Frequent Urgency. The second doctor put him on an anti-biotic (sulfameth) just in case there was a slight infection not showing up in test.
Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out.
For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
Some women get frequent urination and some don't early in pregnancy. :>) You are fine. The frequent urination is caused in later pregnancy due to the weight of the baby pushing on the bladder. I'm sure you'll have this at some point. Ugh, we all do.
I've had frequent urination since it started in the first trimester. Im in the first week of my third. It never went away. Somedays was better than others. My doctor said his favorite spot to lay is on my bladder.

The fact of the matter is that eating disorders are very common in older women and I think that the reason that it is not a well known fact is simply because as older women this is something that we hide pretty well. I am 38 "Soon to be 39" and I also have an eating disorder. I flip flop between bulimia and just not eating at all. I am 5'0" and I weigh about 113. I have a medium frame and I work out like a demon. I both love and hate food.

I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise).
My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day).
I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.
About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
Sometimes the urine amount looks normal but most of the time its dribbling. I frequent twice in half an hour when it dribbles.
There is no blood in the urine. Most of the time it is accompanied by pain and the sensation is there even after urinating. I did not have this problem ever, I drink 8 glasses of water every day. It started about 3 months ago, then stopped for a good 2 months and now I notice the problem again.
urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, intake of diuretics and other medications, radiation therapy or bladder dysfunction. It would really help if you consult with the urologist for further evaluation and management.

A cystoscopy can always be done to look for any local causes for the same. An infection in the prostate could be a culprit in the same. Hence, a rectal examination can also help in picking up the chronic prostatitis which can give rise to the symptoms which you’ve mentioned. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
I didn't really experience frequent urination during my first trimester...but am having it in my second trimester..am 15 weeks 5 days..anyone else with the same issue.could this be normal?
