Avatar f tn I am 28 years old, female. I noticed two months ago frequent urination and the very strong urge to use the bathroom almost every 20 minutes.Especialy while I was walking and a slight back pain. I did urine anaylisis which came out clear and a cultivation which came out clear as well (though the urine was quite thin, maybe due to the large amount of liquids I was consuming). I runned some gynecological tests and they came up clear (only a candinda bacterical).
Avatar n tn I have bloating, I look like I am pregnant, frequent urination, pressure in my abdomen, lower back pain, extreme fatigue and pain during intercourse. What could this be. My doctor kept giving me medication for urinary tract infection.
565203 tn?1217497088 You don't say how old you are, because urinary problems are very common in women who are menopausal due to the lack of estrogen. There are also other conditions that can cause those symptoms. My advice is to go to a urologist and have the proper tests done so you don't end up with a chronic problem. Ask what exact bacteria was found in your initial urine test when you tested positive for infection. It may be that the bacteria you had didn't respond to the first antibiotic.

My problem is that I urinate very frequently. While sleeping it can be up to 4-6 times per night, a normal night is probably 3 times. During the day, I can urinate and then feel the urge to urinate again in as little as ten minutes, although this is not constant.
Avatar n tn This is a chronic inflammation of the bladder wall and unfortunately there is not a known cure. It differs from common cystitis in that the later is caused by a bacterial infection, which can be treated by antibiotic therapy. It is also important to note that IC is not a psychosomatic disorder nor is it caused by stress. IC can affect people of any age, race or sex. It is, however, most commonly found in women.

Avatar n tn It is either a vibration or a sensation of filling up with liquid. No other symptoms are there. No pain in urination, no pain in sex, have been married for many years with one partner, and no urge to go to the bathroom. It happens randomly, and lasts for 3-6 seconds then goes away. It is irritating but not painful. Any thoughts on this issue would be helpful.

Avatar n tn but the majority of times blood came out in the sperm, or only after ejaculation during urination, or both in the sperm and the urine. once i woke up without having had sex that week and urinated blood. i tested my blood, sperm, and urine and the only abnormality was a high psa level. my dr said it is very rare and is that high in 40/50 year old. i did a biopsy for prostate cancer and my dr said that everything was ok. after the biopsy, i waqs back to normal.
Avatar m tn Mind you, I have no urinary symptoms whatsoever. Not particularly frequent, no pain in that area, no burning....pretty much normal. Prostate seems normal (I'm a male in my mid 40s). Anyhow, the Doc said it was a longshot but maybe it is prostate related. So for 5 days now I've woken with absolutely no flank pain whatsoever. Ive never had more than 1 or maybe 2 days without the pain waking me til now and even on those days, I'd still have some pain. But now nothing.
Avatar n tn it can cause horrible infections in newborns, sometimes fatal. However, in adult women it usually is just colonizing the vagina, without ill effect. It is likely that your symptoms are due to something else, but GBS was picked up by coincidence. Most experts would not have even tested you for GBS, and we don't do it in my STD clinic. All that said, GBS may sometimes cause symptomatic vaginal infections; this area is a bit controversial.
Avatar n tn Every article on the internet has to do with Strep B in prenatal women (when it is very dangerous for the baby) and nothing about Strep B for regular women in their 40's like me :) Thanks, I'd love to hear from anyone who has ever been treated for this disease or any doctors out there.

Avatar n tn For the last week or so now I have had a very slight, high-frequency vibrating sensation in my penis (it feels like it is in my urethra, from about the base of the glans to the base of the penis). It feels like varying degrees of the following sensations: - a cellphone vibrating in my pocket - a stream of fluid flowing through the urethra (without the sensation of exiting the glans) It is not usually constant, but is rhythmic, that is, will come and go in intervals...

Avatar n tn I wake every morning with horrible pain in lower back (kidney area) that radiates to the front of stomach (rib area). I have had battery of tests and found nothing. I am only able to sleep 5-6 hours before pain wakes me, also unable to take a deep breath until I get out of bed (very painful just to roll over), once I stand and get out of bed the pain almost immediately starts to ease. After about 20 minutes of walking around and after first morning void, pain disappears for remainder of day.
Avatar f tn The white discharge is probably a vaginal infections such as yeast or bacterial. Frequent urination can be a sign of diabetis so you for sure have a blood check for that. Leakage is a very common thing for women expecially after childbirth or the increase of age. You can usually practice doing kiggles and that generally help in that area. Sounds like you need a good check up from you gyno.

Avatar n tn Hi, The cause of the brownish discoloration could be in the prostate. "Red blood indicates new and dark (brownish) discoloration indicates previous bleeding. Prostatic bleeding often is associated with gross blood during urination. This typically will occur with initiation or at the end of urination (as opposed to being throughout the entire stream). With the latter, it is often manifest as spots of blood on the underwear, pajamas or bed sheets..
