Did you ever find out why you were itching? I don't itch on Estradiol tablets but I have been using an Estrogen cream in and around my vagina and it is causing burning and itching that is driving me crazy!!! My doctor tells me she has never heard of that kind of problem.

Hi my estrogen was low on 2nd day in this cycle (my lab results said lesser than 37) but my RE said that he wants low estrogen on 2nd day and that it will normally increase in the process. Apparently bad news is if you have high estrogen on day 2. I am in natural cycle IVF and my follicle has developed well and my uterus lining is good. I am having aspiration tomorrow - so it did not look like there was a problem even though estrogen was low on 2nd day. I hope all works well for you. Good luck.
I personally found generic Estrace (micronized
t absorbing it which would imply that your symptoms are from the loss of your ovaries and not the estradiol itself. I am also on estradiol tablets but I don't take mine orally. I either insert them vaginally or let them dissolve between my cheek and gum (transbuccal). And I use a higher dose of 1mg. My Rx is for 2mg but since I don't take them orally / swallow (no first pass through the liver), I cut them in half and only take 1mg. The use of only 1/2 pill makes it dissolve faster too.
She says that I am only to take the white tablets (containing Estradiol valerate 2mg) once a day along with my other pills and she says this is because it will help my uterus grow as she is concerned about lack of space and possible miscarriage.
My concern is that following some internet research - these tablets (The Progyluton) appear to be strongly contraindicated for pregnancy!!
I am worried about taking them and I'm also worried about NOT taking them!!!!
m taking progesterone capsules, HCG injections and aspirin delayed release tablets .What r they supposed to do and how does it help my baby? I had a chemical pregnancy in July and I'm now 6w3d pregnant.

Hey, I'm a 60 year old women who is on Armour thyroid, and I am menopasal, I had a estradiol test, I believe it was 30 but should be 90 if I'm remembering right. Should I have a Progesterin test also? I read that Estriol is a good estrogene suppliment to use, I guess its used vaginally is that right? and it says I should use Progesterone along with it, do they have a progesteron that can be used vaginally? or is the cream good?
On the 4th day I went back for my blood test to check my progesterone level, and was told it was at level 9, and did not need to take another shot of Ovidrel, however the dr put me on Estradial for 15 days. 2mg two tablets twice a day. On the 5th day after my iui I started experiencing extremely soar breasts, to this day are still extremely soar. Much worse then pms. Could this be a side effect of the estradiol, or could it be pregnancy effects. I go for a pregnancy test on 2/25.
You should call your nurse and ask her about the stain. Originally my doctor said i would be on progesterone for 8 weeks but I only ended up taking the progesterone shots and suppositories from 2/20 - 3/12. My levels were high enough that I was able to switch from shots to pills. I'm now taking ESTRADIOL 2MG TABLETS (2x a day) and PROMETRIUM 200MG (3x day). It seems to be working. I now only have blood draws every 2 weeks.
I also had a hysterectomy. I won't lie; it was the worst day of my life! It is hard for the body to regulate temperature after hysterectomy with ovary removal. When you say your hormone levels are "not rmal" maybe they are not normal for you. Or maybe you need a different HRT. I was easily overheated on the patch plus it left me with too many other surgical menopause symptoms. I do much better on generic Estrace tablets.
After identifying this I am on daily dose of tablets i.e. Ebexid and B-Long. Apart from this last month I took five tables course of Letroz tablets from day 3 to day 7. Letroz was helping till day 22 and max size attained was 12 mm only. After that next month in addition to Letroz I was given FSH injections on day 5 and day 7. Now the U/S on day 13 shows that still the size is very small i.e <8 mm.
I had a natural FET today and the blood work from this morning showed my estrogen level was 106. My doctor told me to tAke four estrogen patches every other day plus 2mg estradiol tablet every day to increase my estrogen. He said it should be 300. Esteogen is counter indicated for pregnancy- causes birth defects in children- says right on the label to not take whole pregnant! Does anyone know what their estrogen level was on day of transfer and did doctor recommend taking estrogen?
How long after a confirmed pregnancy are you suppose to continue taking Estradiol? Just read on the internet that it can cause birth defects and I can't reach my doctor to confirm this.
Please tell me after afull hysterectomy , does she need oestrogen and progesterone, or one or the other. She was on oestrogen patches with no joy , now on oestrogen tablets and the weight gain and bloating is making her very unhappy , the doctors say the weight gain is nothing to do with the operation..that is the biggest load of codswollop even i have heard.
I am on 200 mg prometrium /5 mg estradiol, and metformin as well as tirosint. The prometrium and estradiol is for hot flashes. The metformin for prediabetes, couldn't get my a1c down, and tirosint for thyroid disease. My question is this...the prometrium and estradiol are causing my blood sugars to stay high, as well as make me very tired, as well as making me gain weight. I walk briskly at least 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour daily. I watch what I eat, low sugars, etc.
m eighteen and recently got my wisdom teeth taken out so I had to take anti-biotics for a week and the doctor told me if would interfere with my oral contraceptives, Sprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol tablets, 0.250 mg/0.035 mg). I got the antibiotics at the same time as I started my new pack of birth control and took them both for the first week of my cycle, and I used protection until the next week when my antibiotics ran out (because, of course, things happen).
