Common Questions and Answers about Epipen jr case

epipen

Avatar f tn It should only be used in case of life threatening allergic reaction. Epipen is known to be associated with shaking esp. when the larger doses are taken. You should not take more than recommended dose; otherwise you may land up in complication. This is due to stimulation of the muscles. Hence, epipen should be better used under doctor's observation. If you are allergic to water following measures will help you- - Stay away from water as long as possible. - Avoid going in rain outside.
Avatar n tn Hi, welcome to the forum, as such epipen are not available yet. Epipen delivers a measured dose of epinephrine (also known as adrenaline) using autoinjector technology, most frequently for the treatment of acute allergic reactions to avoid or treat the onset of anaphylactic shock. In certain cases it can be used to stop local bleeding. Alternatively, the same drug can be given by the local health care provider or you need to go to emergency department.
Avatar n tn m also allergic to several medications (antibiotics) and my doctor said I might need an epipen when I take them to keep me alive until I get to a hospital. Just about all antibiotics close my throat. But I thought epipens contained epiphenephrine, and was told by a friend that it's bad for those with a heart arrhythmia. Has anyone here with PVCs had to use an epipen for an anaphlactic shock reaction, and if so, was it safe for the heart? Thanks.
Avatar n tn Hello I have severe reactions from insect stings especially bee stings. Its so bad that 1 or 2 stings will put me into anaphylactic shock. I have over 5000+ PVC's a day and the docs say it is a supposed benign condition. (which I do not believe). My wife has never had a pvc or palpitations. Anyways, I have to carry around a epipen everywhere I go. Last year I was working in my back yard and was stung twice, once in the face under the eye and once in my arm.
Avatar n tn If she is not allergic to all triazole antifungals, it should be safe... She could take it but have her epipen in close range, just in case, and maybe take it while a doctor is present, just in case. To be on the safe side, switch to another imidazole or thiazole antifungal instead.
4451049 tn?1387153437 If the person having the attack carries an epinephrine autoinjector (such as an EpiPen or EpiPen Jr), give him or her a shot right away. Even if symptoms improve after an emergency epinephrine injection, a visit to the emergency department is still necessary to make sure symptoms don't return. " Ephedra------ I certainly can't say that you were really going into an attack----- but if had been me I would have stabbed my EpiPen into my thigh and then gone to the ER.
Avatar m tn Some allergies can be life-threatening as they can precipitate anaphylactic shock in which the swelling can be so severe that it impairs the ability to breathe. Therefore, I would suggest you see someone as soon as possible. Also, keep an epi pen with you in case of an emergency. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
Avatar f tn Look him up on google. My dad has been in prison before so his records are the first thing that appeared. If he's been in jail before you can go from there , see if he's in jail whatever the case is. And even if he isn't or if he was there's an address and with his records a lot of other info is on there.. Or you can always pay for his information this is a step further. Go to a county records and see if your bio father has any property in his name. good luck!!
Avatar f tn Well no one would call him B.J. cause Jr would not be his middle name. Jr is just a suffix not a middle name. Or I guess you could make it a name but in this case it would be Bryan "middle name" "last name" Jr.
Avatar f tn So me and the father of my child aren't together and weren't together when I got pregnant. Lately he's been coming around and we've been getting along after 18 weeks of being pregnant. He wants a JR and because he doesn't plan on us being a family I don't wanna do that. The baby will at least have his last name so am I wrong for how I feel? Mind you he is still talking to other girls and continues to lie in my face about it....should i care?
Avatar f tn This has always controlled the swelling for me, but in my case I have eaten something that I am allergic to and the reaction starts in the throat. For you, the throat swelling seems to be part of a systemic reaction. In any case the liquid Benadryl is worth a try.
645800 tn?1466860955 I am very allergic to bee and wasp stings to the point that I can die from a sting within about 1/2 hour or so. As a result I am suppose to carry an EpiPen with me at all times ( especially since there are a lot of wasps and bees around my home ). But despite this the couple of times I have been stung I have never been able to give myself the much needed shot. And to make matter worse I always have 2 reactions to each sting.
Avatar f tn He is Joseph J. Burrascano Jr, and there is also a Joseph Burrascano who ceased practice in 1993, perhaps a relative. All the Lyme stuff I have seen lists Burrascano as 'Jr'.
Avatar f tn s rare too - even Martin Luther King Jr., who was a world class leader, has kept the Jr. decades after his death. I'm curious - can you remember where you saw the moving up of numerals? I would think that would be horrifically confusing if you are doing geneology research.
Avatar f tn I was soo happy my bf said he didnt have to have a jr.... he is a jr and I just wanted a new name for my little guy. However to he will have my bf middle name.
624742 tn?1221939746 The runt of the litter is named Jr. he is the smallest of them all a 5 yr old kid can hold him in the palm of their hand and not have a problem. I was wondering if you might get me any info as to what could be wrong with him. He is nonstop feeding but the thing is we never see him use the restroom. Could he have down syndrome, or be lacktos and toterant? When he isn't eatting all he does is sleep.
Avatar n tn I was rushed to emergency, given benedryl and sent home 4 hours later. I got an Epipen for I was told, although rare, that I could have a secondary reaction within the next week. Sure enough November 5 I had a second reaction (bi-phasic reaction). I was given the epipen by my mother for I passed out and couldn't give it myself. Back to the hospital.
Avatar f tn Not pregnancy related but Idk what to do today my boyfriend we to a Carl's Jr drive through to wet something to eat before school. The cashier refused to serve him because he is deaf! That is no right! That is discrimination and should be considered a hate crime maybe it is. My boyfriend is now so upset an depressed that he feels like les of a human. S there some way I can help him get justice for this. It is no right to refuse a person due to a disability ITS WRONG!
Avatar f tn You may need an Epipen if it becomes more severe but in the meantime see a physician and buy some Benadryl.
