I have some serious allergies and often they close my throat. I live 20 minutes from the nearest doctor or hospital. Until recently I always felt safe because I could use an epipen and that would give me time to get help. But now I have been diagnosed with about 8000 PVCs a day, and was told by another sufferer that I shouldn't use an epipen anymore, that it's not a good idea for those with PVCs.

This weekend was horrible, I had two reaction to the water, on friday it was with rain, and had to give me 2 shoots of Epipen, and than I was better but shaking badly from the Epipen, and yesturday just by sweat I did a reaction and again the Epipen but just once, and I didnt even went to the hospital after, his that dangerous if I dont go???? And his it dangerous I have to many shoots?????

Is Epipen available in India? If not, what is the alternative emergency treatment for anaphylactic shock commonly used?

It used to be every other weekend, but his mom (my husbands exwife) was struggling with the kids listening to her. She knows that they are a discipline problem and the kids have always respected and listened to their father much better than her. Therefore, their mom asked that they start living with us at least 50% of the time. Our Son has been sent home from school almost everyday with a bad report. Lying, stealing, etc.

Thank you. I have read some reviews and am leaning towards the Babies R Us brand. I have noticed itchiness is the most common complaint, followed by discomfort from rolling of the bands. Some I have read didn't help at all. I am trying to narrow down before I bring the kids on a shopping trip.

The other day my friend had a major asthma attack that almost sent him to the ER-- he thankfully had an epipen nearby. He thinks what triggered it was a laxative (sennosides in pill form) he took a couple of hours before. Is this even possible? And if so, should he be avoiding all things laxative? I wouldn't be asking these questions here, but he is too stubborn to go to a doctor like he should.

For pollen, dog and cat hair try taking some antihistamine like Zyrtec (works well for me). For the food allergies, you just have to avoid them. Try Googling some gluten-free recipes.

I am very allergic to bee and wasp stings to the point that I can die from a sting within about 1/2 hour or so. As a result I am suppose to carry an EpiPen with me at all times ( especially since there are a lot of wasps and bees around my home ). But despite this the couple of times I have been stung I have never been able to give myself the much needed shot. And to make matter worse I always have 2 reactions to each sting.

I was rushed to emergency, given benedryl and sent home 4 hours later. I got an Epipen for I was told, although rare, that I could have a secondary reaction within the next week. Sure enough November 5 I had a second reaction (bi-phasic reaction). I was given the epipen by my mother for I passed out and couldn't give it myself. Back to the hospital.

Get tested for allergies. It sounds like you have ingested or been exposed to something that is an allergen (to you). You may need an Epipen if it becomes more severe but in the meantime see a physician and buy some Benadryl.

She had to sit and sleep in a certain position to keep it from stabbing her, and like your friend, the seat belt was painful. She covered it in lambswool. The IP port was put in for her initial chemo which lasted for 6 months. After first recurrence she had another IP port, for three of the five months of chemo. My dad uses regular back support belt, my husband literally lives in snogg belt, my kids have some belts too. They all are having great results from using their waist belts. Now it's my turn. Last two days were agony, my low back was killing me. Doctor is away for 2 weeks, and now I have the choices that family have - I need to try those belts to see what will it work for me...

It started only in the injection site. But now its in other areas for ex my chest it itched so bad that I noticed a bruise, which is un normal for me.

I have carried an epipen for the last 11 years for my son and Thank God we have not had to use it. But I was wondering if anyone did have an experience like this and had to use an epipen. Or if you have any information on urticaria pigmentosa? ( I know alot about it but I always would like to know more. Please share any information you may have or experiences you incountered.

Call the cops skrew it cause a seen if need be just get that away from your kids sweetie and of that scares you which I understand go pack a bag for each of your kids and go to the nearest fily members house

Ya, the belt they gave me works only when I am walking a lot and not sitting. Got. Belly support belt today that my doctor prescribed. So far so good.

I do have pain walking but I have to get over most of the time, cause I am teaching and my kids are counting on me. I havent gotten a belt either, feel like we are to close to spend the money. I have it bad at night turning over also, it *****, but at least we have little angels coming out of it!!!!!

d suggest you get a pediatric Epipen. Personally I keep 2 on hand. You should have 1 at school for him and one either in your purse or at home. He should have one available at all times. These allergies accelerate quickly. Check for dosage with your doctor, but you can also use benadryl for allergic reactions. I'm so sorry this happened to your children. These stings hurt horribly! And right now with school starting, you all have enough on your plate. Good luck at the clinic tonight.

I have been having panic attacks ever since early 2015 when I was first ever stang by a wasp and went into anaphylactic shock.(the er doctor said I am allergic to bees/wasps/hornets venom. That day I was rushed back into the er and bum rushed by 5 different nurses and a doctor, one nurse asking me which arm I want the epipen in? I am like Idc I can't breath stab me! ) I almost died that day, and now I have been having panic attacks almost every other day.

After I was stabilized they sent me home with an RX for an EpiPen. But 4 hours later I was back in the ER with a second reaction to that bee sting that was just as bad as the first one. This time they kept me for about 8 hours just to make sure I didn't have yet another episode. You can just imagine the nightmare it was with my insurance company when the hospital billed them for 2 ER visits on the same day for the same thing.

I tried the SI belt...it was so uncomfortable I couldn't do it...
