Avatar f tn Still emotional and easily irritated, still tired a lot, still eating way too much (I also have a craving for sweets), belly growing constantly, oh and skin is NOT glowing - is looks worse than ever. The only thing that is different is I now get headaches, gums are sensitive and I have horrible nasal issues. LOL. But seriously, I'm not complaining. :) I know it's all worth it and although it sounds like I should be miserable...I love being pregnant. Go figure.
Avatar n tn Hi, I am a 19 year old female and weight about 150 lbs. So, I just finished my first college year and came home for the summer. I had to fly from CA to WA. Two days after my trip I started noticing an itch on my left lower bottom. It hurt in the beginning and I didn't think much of it until I took a look at it in the mirror a couple of days later. Some skin had fallen off, it was bleeding a bit, there was a black spot in the middle and a white spot which seemed to be filled with something.
Avatar n tn Ok so I heard eating your placenta is a good way to get back all the nutrients that you lose due to your pregnancy. You can cook it or get it put into capsules and take it like vitamins. It also helps prevent depression after your baby. I dont think I could do it, but it sounds like a pretty good idea. What do you ladies think?
5796302 tn?1382980534 In my culture after having your baby they say its good to tighten your stomach after delivery. Like wear Spandex type thing in your stomach to prevent the stomach from just going loose and getting it tight again. My mother-in-law did this after her pregnancy and it is worked for her, it helped her tighten the stomach up a little bit. Obviously with eating right and exercise or simple moving around, but this method definitely helped her alot to get the stomach a bit tight again.
Avatar f tn I don't have an answer for you. But just want to let you know that you are not alone. I am 42 and have been struggling with cystic acnes for the past 9 years (adult onset). The only thing I know for sure is that it is related to my GI issues. I had rectal cancer, GERD, gastritis, small bowel bacteria overgrowth, and precancerous lesions in my stomach.

Avatar m tn For that reason, you need to eat very frequently in order to preventing use of your own muscle mass as a source of nutrition for vital organs; we recommend you eat at least three meals a day and three to four snacks between meals. Patients who are overweight should be careful to eat low-calorie meals and low-calorie snacks. Patients who are under-nourished should have high-calorie meals and snacks. Bedtime snacks are especially important.
Avatar f tn s the hormones. Since everyone has different skin, some things may work for you some may not. You might have too experiment. Try first getting simple cleansing pads and wash the areas twice a day, then when it's dry, apply an oil-free lotion lotion to the area. Sometimes it takes days to see results, so try to stick with it. Also check your diet. Are you eating greasy foods? Fried foods? Chocolate? Lots of dairy? Sometimes they make it worse.

Avatar f tn Hi! I'm in my teens and hope to loose around 100lbs, I'm 5'11 making the bmi I hope to be around 16.5. I know this is a tough feat but I just wanted to know if anyone had succeeded in something like this. I've read that when your younger your skin will stretch back more easily, and that as long as you exercise you shouldn't have to worry about loose skin at my age. I've lost a lot of weight before but unfortunately put it back on due to stress eating from personal issues.
