Avatar n tn Hi Friends, Thanks for your comments. We, as a group of teachers did went through our teachers observation check list. Then after that, we refer her to the professional. how I wish it is a misdiagnose, but it is not. Hi Sam, In Singapore preschool, teachers avoid giving sweets and chocolates. Reason being, if the child happens to have cough or anything, teachers will often be the one getting all the blames. It's kind of hard been a teacher these days, oh boy!
Avatar m tn I took meds that were right for me and also spoke with a psychiatrist who specialized in recovery from drugs/alcohol. He was very chill and understanding. You don't need to feel ashamed- so many people that you think are judging you are much more occupied being scared that you might be judging them. CBT really helped me, and isnn't some dragon hidden away in a castle that you can't find.
10623623 tn?1414292089 They are close to home, and I am able to go to many of them while still taking care of my responsibilities at home with my twins. However, since starting the SMART recovery plan, I am struggling with the concept of AA/NA. I love the SMART program. Every night I complete worksheets and read my SMART handbook. I plan on purchasing the online modules. SMART has many online resources which allows me to be at home with my children and still put in the work needed for my recovery.

Avatar m tn I have seen a posting requesting an answer to a question about a drug to combat wd,s, I have a friend who is a judge and runs a very successful drug court and he stated the his court administers a drug called visiral, I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling, but he claims that it immediately arrests the craving for opiates, in his words, it is a miracle drug, one dosage type thing. Unfortunately I,m not in a position to come out to my Dr., family, & and friends.
5957912 tn?1379936972 Great job on day 5 and thanks for letting us know how you're doing! I'm sorry you had two seizures and broke a finger but it will all be worth it (heck, it already IS)! It sounds like you're in the best place you can be and you can really focus on you and your recovery. Please keep us posted and know that we're all here cheering you on!
Avatar f tn I know how you feel. I was in a car accident 11 months ago and feel very nervous approaching intersections. The hard part is driving through the road I T-boned someone (who pulled out unexpectedly). I can relate, so hold on. CBT helped me a lot with other anxiety, even though I'm not "cured". You can check out some worksheets online for free. Some will go like, "What are the odds percentage-wise you think this will happen?

Avatar f tn As I was saying in the first part, He got worksheets on a snow day, and shortly after he got upset that the fact that he still has to make the snow day up although he got worksheets that snow day. 1944426 tn?1324088986 this forum is very helpful and it's a good addition to any addict's program of recovery. but there's no substitute for face-to-face interaction with addicts in recovery. i would suggest that you hook up with the NA folks in your area . . . you will find people who have been where you are and know the path to where you want to be. look at eanaonline-dot-org . . .

Avatar n tn t want to stay on another drug any longer than I need to. I have heard great things about this treatment and hope it works for me. I really want to get sober and stay sober. I am so relieved that I finally took this step and have NO vicodin in my house. This site really helped me to get the courage to take this step. I thank everyone that participates in this forum for your support.
199177 tn?1490498534 Hey all, this is an interesting post and I thought it would be fitting to respond since I probably am one of those people saying I'm clean when not completely so. I completely agree with the fact that we SHOULD NOT replace one addiction with another by taking other medications. However, taking suboxone or methadone is a different story. If these medications are taken under doctor care with the sole purpose of getting off drugs all and all, than I am for them.
205111 tn?1224639754 but at night i have been having these awful drug dreams that seem to be getting worse as my days get better...has this happened to anyone else?
765245 tn?1234687280 Drug dreams are very common in early recovery and i had them for well over a month non stop. Dreams so real i woke up thinking I had relapsed. They will diminish with time, but I still have the odd one. I used to dream my pockets were filled with cocaine and I was always running away from somone scared to death, i didnt' want them taking my coke, lol. I also saw my dealers in my dreams a lot, so many weird ones. It is part of recovery, but can be very freaky.

Avatar f tn where you watch videos about pregnancy and other things pregnancy related. You have to do worksheets with the videos and you have hw also. They give you what's called "baby bucks" to spend on stuff donated to them. A crib was 10 baby bucks. Maybe they have something like that where you are.
478387 tn?1210762308 I am on oxycontin and fentora (for breakthrough pain), after many trial and errors on other medications. The drug therapy will at least let you function as an individual. Things that work: 1. Massage your head. Sounds wierd but it helps. 2. Pain meds. Take them when you are in pain. 3. Rest, rest, and more rest. The more excercise, the worse the headache. 4. Limit your stress 5. Limit caffeine intake.
736475 tn?1281259327 very few people in my life i can discuss this with. i probably lost my job by missing 3 days of work. recovery in one hand, job in other hand. i chose recovery. it was the mostest bestest thing. i can find another job. they may not fire me anyway. i feel like a new person. a very tiny 88 pound person who should weigh at least 118. i think i will try becoming addicted to eating, and what better time of year to do it. needing prayers to the deity of your choice please. love and miss you guys!

Avatar n tn Yes. Tramadol is the demon-drug! It is so hard to get off of it, because it's a double whammy. Like taking an opiate and an AD. The wellbutrin will help, I bet. I had to start on one a few weeks after I detoxed from tramadol, and that has been over two months. I feel much better! You will be better before long. Hang in there! If you have anymore pills, FLUSH THEM!
