460591 tn?1207150799 Things like little fortunes...or like horoscopes...or something? I try to read a page out of the "Tao Te Ching". This is the book that the guy from "A Million Little Pieces" read. That's where I heard of it. I feel like I appreciate it so much more being a recovering addict. I apply the page I read to my everyday life and it just fits. It's the type of thing you can shape to your life no matter what you are going through. Maybe some of you should check it out.
2012515 tn?1353875525 Those are wonderful quotes, Tammy! I hope all of you had a great Mother's Day! Mine was just about perfect; I got to spend it w/ all of my kids and got to see my mom-in-Law of 23 years over the weekend, too. We had exceptional brunch at The Sheridan Inn, where Buffalo Bill held a lot of the try outs for his Wild West Show and helped out w/ it's restoration fund.
6708370 tn?1471490210 I love the idea of continuing the quotes on the same on-going thread! The best of both worlds - easy to skip over one, for those who do not enjoy them, AND available to people, like me, who look there first thing each day for a smile, chuckle, laugh, or something to think about - about the world, myself, or others --- just not hepc/other medical conditions (for a little while).

Avatar f tn Pepsi Your heartburn and upset stomach may be from the drugs. If it were me, I would slow down the process and do some research. I would get copies of the ecg and everything else. Are you seeing a cardiologist for this? There is another website called StopAfib. I think you should check it out. The people there have a lot of experience with Afib. Do not panic.
Avatar f tn Things were okay for a day or two. Then tonight I discussed the death of a local teenager with the mother of a friend of mine. It really has me focused on death. She was my age when she passed, and now all I can think about is that could have been me. She died of pulmonary embolisms. I can't stop thinking about my death. My health anxiety is contributing to this, as well as my undiagnosed depression. I don't know what do to do to stop these intrusive, repetitive thought.
Avatar n tn I had surgery recently and the day after experienced alot of general swelling. I noticed one side of my vag was swollen too. A lesion developed that day that resembled an open sore no pain except when urine came in contact with it. My doc put me on an antibiotic and in 7 days it started to clear up but another developed next to it. now the prior lesion looks like the latter one. i am so scarred and so ashamed.

But the most important thing is, even of we're apart... I'll always be with you.
Avatar m tn When it comes to your health, I recommend frequent doses of that rare commodity among Americans—common sense. Back of every creation, supporting it like an arch, is faith. Enthusiasm is nothing: it comes and goes. But if one believes, then miracles occur.
