ve been having, what I think anyway, Braxton Hicks. She kicks during them. And I was wondering if during real contractions if the baby will still kick. I'm so nervous for labor but so excited for my baby!
Not sure what hb kicks are but it was pretty hard contractions took Tylenol to take the edge off and that allowed me to fall asleep.
I'm not sure if I should call my doctor, I've been having pains on and off in my upper stomach and lower back. I've also been having Braxton Hicks contractions for the past month but they were mostly mild pain in my lower abdomen and my stomach hardening and once I would lay on my left side and drink a bunch of water they would eventually subside. Also the baby is still moving but when he kicks during the cramping it feels like my uterus is going to break open.
I'm 26+4days and my contractions r 8 minutes apart they hurt do I call labor and delivery any advice.....
You just have to pay attention to the contractions more so you can tell the difference between the babys kicks and movement from the contractions. Sometimes you can get confused from the babys movement and the contractions. I hope this helps.
I was induced with my first too, I'm in labor now and it's a lot less stressful. It feels like it's taking forever for the contractions to get strong enough (they told me to stay home and try to relax until they're too painful for me to walk and stuff).
It feels like I get cramps in my kidneys then a really deep pain in my belly. Baby kicks during them often too so it's painful and tiring too.

I was just hoping some people would share what their braxton hicks contractions feel like versus other pregnancy feelings and actual contractions. I've researched it and got the book answer, but maybe some personal experiences would help me fully understand. It took me forever to figure out what the kicks and jabs felt like, but I still have other sensations sometimes that I haven't been able to "diagnose" :)

So, I'm 17 weeks and I've started getting Braxton Hicks contractions. My last pregnancy with my son I didn't have that until my late second trimester same as the kicks which is a lot of kicks sometimes it even feels like little movements. Have anyone been dealing with this????

Does that mean its dropping when I get sharp pains down there? Im already dilating at a 1 with contractions.. what does it mean?
t admitted and I got sent home is it normal for contractions to stop? My baby still moves and kicks which is a really good thing and I still discharge mucus plug which the nurse at the hospital said was also a good thing.... But is it reallya good thing for the contractions to stop while I'm this far along in my pregnancy?
but you said the your 35wks so you might be feeling braxton hicks contractions. Thats the little play/play contractions before the real thing kicks in... Or if you want a better understanding of braxton hicks contractions you can search it up on google...

I'm 37 weeks too with no contractions. This is my first pregnancy, so I don't know what to expect!
it is recomended to count for a designated 2 hrs.for example if u count 10 kicks before the 2 hrs.u are done.I usually do my kicks counts right after diner or drinking something cold .at times u can count 10 kicks in a few min if baby is active.it doesnt matter the frequency.(that will ve later w something called contractions!!! Lol).
