Its an antibiotic called clindamycin HCl for bacterial vaginosis. Its like every month since July I have to take a dose of clindamycin HCl twice a day for seven days... July I took flagyl for two days was allergic to it so they gave me clindesse vaginal cream for my baby! Then august found out I still have it and they have me take this clindanycin HCl tablet. Then august 27th, ugh I still have it!! They're making me take the same ****. Sorry im just a lil bit disappointed nor upset.
The treatment that you have been prescribed is correct. If you are having any side effects then get the antibiotics changed and even oral antibiotics can be added.

Took flagyl but I was allergic to I switched to clindamycin. I took that clindesse clindamycin vaginal cream, didn't work!!! Clindamycin HCl tablets for 7 days didn't work!!! Now they want me to take clindamycin HCl for 7 days again!!!??!!!!!! I'm sooooooo confused, frustrated, devastated, im cryinh and all mix nega emotions!!!!

I do not know about your type of clindamycin,
but i had a root canal , and my doc gave me clindamycin hcl 300 mg capsules, 4 tablets per day for 2 weeks. I was not advised anything about what supplements etc to take along. 2 weeks were fine.
After my medication stopped, i had anti-biotic induced diarrhoes for 2 months. every day was a nightmare. i looked up on internet, ant this was very common. I had to go to my physician and he put me on probiotic dose.
i have a swollen face and lip on the left side of my face. i went to the er yesterday morning and they gave me clindamycin hcl 150 mg and ibuprofen 800 mg along with oxycodone apap5-325mg.

I went to a urologist a few days ago and got check out, but I feel like I need a second opinion on this problem.
I have what is called a puss jew they called it on my ball sack filled with puss they didn't think it was anything serious at all and put me on Clindamycin HCL to get rid of it. The Urologist also look at my penis seen what appears to be one red bump on each side of my penis.

I was diagnosed with an abscess and given clindamycin HCl 300 mg yesterday. Today it was naturally draining on its own but due to where it is located I can't cover it so I couldn't let it continue draining. I ended up pushing/squeezing it too help drain it and a ton of stuff came out (sorry for that nasty imagery). Is this unsafe? Is it possible that I push the infection deeper?
you can discuss with your doctor about starting only half the starting dose initially to give you some assurance of its side effects. paxil can be sedating so most people take it at night. the top 3 side effects are headahces, nausea and sexual dysfunction. all of these resolve over time as the body becomes accustomed to the new medication.

One more question.....Scars are seen on the face due to the use of scalpel for removing the pimples and subsequent use of an anti-inflammatory/anti-biotic injection by a doctor...What should be done to make my face even.......
Also, the infection has been treated with numerous antibiotics (amoxicillin, flagyl, omnicef, augmentin, clindamycin), and all seem to help at first, but only clindamycin has lasting effects. Not even augmentin worked. Any idea on what kind of bacteria would respond to clindamycin but not augmentin?
I am having some severe side effects concerning short term memory loss, irritability, and fatigue. I have taken Ibuprofen 800mg, nortriptyline HCL 25mg, promethazine 25mg, acetaminophen COD#3, cycmbalta 30mg, pamelor 25mg, cyclobenzarrine 10mg, hydrocodone 500mg, methycprednisolone 4mg, tramadol HCL 50 mg, and viagra 100mg. My question is will any of the medications i was subscribed or taken in combination have symptons of severe memory loss?
has given me 10 days of clindamycin to be taken 3 times a day at a dose of 450 mgs. this is fine, i can take clindamycin with no ill effects.
HOWEVER, i have read that this drug is not commonly used to treat std's as there are so many better options. Is clindamycin going to work??? Thanks.
On Thursday I saw the dermatologist and he said it was likely a bad bacterial infection, gave me strong ointment and antibiotic Clindamycin HCL, the ointment Altabax retapamulin 1% and said if it didn't at least feel a little better in the morning go to the hospital. I entered the emergency room Friday morning in major pain, and with a disfigured face. I was admitted Friday evening and given an iv drip with 6 rounds of antibiotic.
went to the dentist and he said the infection had gone into my tissue. He put me on Clindamycin on wed.. the lump is still there and the pain had subsided until today. The pain is now really bad. How long does it take for the antibotics to work? have an appt. to have tooth pulled out on the 14th. How long should I give the lump to go down before going to ER for Iv antibiotics?
I was checked @ 19 weeks and that was my first and last. :/ they said everything looked normal and good. Question is I'm already 36 weeks and they still haven't check him if he's measuring right or whatever else I need to know. I mean.. She told me I ain't getting one unless my uterus not measuring right something wrong with the HB or BP and blah blah which are all okay evetytime she checks me up.
Does that mean since 19 weeks my baby's fine?
