cialis

Avatar m tn My diet isnt that good cause of work and neither is my sleeping habit and it was the dame before my surgery as well. I was into fitness a lot and was very active, but after my surgery its been hard getting back into lifting weights. I did see my pc and he prescribed me cialis. it works great, but once i stop using it I'm back to how i was. With my age he thought it was in my head. Could my surgery have cause this?
Avatar m tn Does your doc think the symptoms post prostate surgery may resolve? Cialis relaxes the smooth muscles and arteries inside the penis. At the same time, it also increases blood flow to the penis. When aroused, this combination of relaxation and increased blood flow allows the penis to fill with blood, which results in an erection. It can be taken about 1 to 2 hours prior to full effect being necessary or at a low dose, can be taken every day.
Avatar n tn While you may be a candidate for the drugs as they do help in the recovery (especially if you never had any erectile dysfunction before the surgery), these drugs would also have side effects and may be contraindicated in the presence of other conditions like heart disease and run contrary to other medications. The nature of the surgery is also important, as the proof of treatment effect was conducted for men who had nerve sparing surgery.
Avatar n tn t touched his wife because he cannot get an erection, and he got the Cialis to see if it would make a difference, and it hasn't yet. It could also be for the other things Cialis is prescribed for. (It's not just for erectile dysfunction.) Good luck to her in figuring it out.
Avatar m tn The Cialis only started working about 3 and a half hours after taking it. Then it lasted for 2 or maybe 3 days. In that time it was easy to get it up. I would recommend it (on it's own) and I would say it's better than Levitra.
1396517 tn?1500880649 I'm type 2 diabetic and overweight and have not had any erection problems until this year when during foreplay I'd be as hard as a rock, but go soft just before insertion... my wife has been understanding, but it has been frustrating. My Doctor said that erection problems are more common than people think - especially for people over 40 and she could prescribe a generic 'Cialis' if need be but I was too embarrassed to take up the offer.
Avatar n tn Yes 6 months to a year but may come and go after that. Talk to your Doctor about using Cialis or Viagra to help you till then. Be prepared that your labido may not be as high as it was before the surgery.
Avatar m tn He is 41 and had a urethroplasty over 11 weeks ago. Before the procedure he refused to have sex and again after the recovery period also refusing. Did you feel a reduced sex drive? What was pain with an erection like, after recovery? I try to talk to him about it but he just won't comment. I'm beyond frustrated at this point and trying to be accommodating but it's difficult when I don't understand what's happening. Please let me in on your experiences. Thank you!
Avatar f tn Yes, he has said that he told me of his addiction because he wants to stop, I just dont know how to help him. He started taking codeine after knee surgery and has been taking it ever since. I have to say I am amazed by the postings and people with the same problem. Any advice is helpful.
Avatar n tn Cryosurgery will stop the cancer, but it is a highly skilled procedure, impotence happens about 75% of the time, I don't know if Cialis works (Cialis doesn't work after surgery, but it does work after HIFU). I'm guessing that Cialis will work after cryosurgery, as nothing gets cut. Incontinence is not an issue (less than 2%). Cryosurgery and ultrasound (HIFU) do the same thing--they target the gland without cutting anything, cryo freezes while HIFU cooks the gland.
Avatar m tn I don't have ED but I was curious if my erections could be stronger. I spoke with my doctor and tried Cialis and Viagra. Since they have much different half-lives, I thought I'd try the following: Taking 10-20 mg Cialis every 2-3 days, then taking 20-40 mg Viagra (generic sildenafil) before sexual activity. My questions isn't whether this is effective - it certainly is. But is there any risk to doing this? I moved so I don't have a doctor right now.
Avatar f tn Hello and thank you for reading. My husband and I are trying to conceive but it's been difficult. He's not able to maintain the erection and sometimes not get it. It's only recent actually. He's 35 and doesn't seem to be stressed out. When he went to the doctor, he was prescribed cialis. Then when the doctor checked him, he said his foreskin doesn't go back when he's erect and it's very painful if it is pulled back.
Avatar n tn Hi, I had prostate surgery in the form of a TURP and resection of the bladderneck in 1995 at the age of 30. In 1999 I first started having problems with ED. My urologist at the time prescribed Viagra which did not realy work. I did not really have any success with Cialis either. In 2003 I was seen by a urologist who specialized in ED as a part of a health clinic examination for a neurological problem that I was being seen for.
Avatar n tn Met my wife 6 months ago again performance anxiety, took cialis and it worked until I made a decision to try celexa for two weeks and I dont know if it was my anxiety or fear or did it really kill my sex drive. Viagra or Cialis didnt work. Went back on Luvox up to 150mg and Neurontin 300mg 2x a day.I would get an erection but a thought would pop into my head that Im not performing well and it would go down. Somehow Cialis started to work for me again and its been successful.
Avatar n tn Ten years ago, i had TUR surgery and have have noticed that despite its obvious limitations, when i ejaculate , some semen always come out. Please give ideas on how to satisfy my girl friend desired fertility and how do you OPTIMIZE your sex power ( CIALIS ??? VIAGRA ?? or NATURE ?
Avatar m tn I would talk to your doctor about cialis. My husband takes it and it works like a charm. It is not like you have to take it and be ready to go that minute. It works for up to 36 hours so you can take it and when mood is right, you will be ready to go.
Avatar n tn t been able to get or hold erections....not often but enough that it bothers me. I have tried all kinds of drugs...viagra, cialis, over the counter stuff....they work but I don't like the side effects or having to use chemicals. Is there anything natural out there that gives you that extra sex drive you need to ensure you always get and hold a good erection...or should I just assume I will have that problem because I am getting older...I don't want to lose it.
Avatar m tn Like everyone else, I apologize in advance for a long story. About seven months ago i met an amazing woman. A woman i almost immediately fell in love with, and believe me, i'm not the type to immediately fall in love. We dated for about two months and had an amazing time. Finally, we attempted to be intimate for the first time and...I psyched myself out. She was just so damned beautiful and I had spent an entire day hoping it would happen that night, and I just had a case of ED.
Avatar n tn I just looked at several websites about this and only found 2 answers. One, there IS a cialis made for women. Two, women should not take cialis for men. No reason was given. Sorry that's all I have for you.
Avatar m tn t drink alcohol while taking medicine but I have in the past drink a little just to relax my nerves and also taken the cialis and as you can see I am still alive telling you my story. however, I take cialis because I believe I have a venous leak. If you're not experiencing a venous leak with your penis, then you don't need to take cialis.
Avatar f tn The chances of a return of your function depends on how good your erections were prior to surgery and how much you are willing to go through penile rehabilitation with supplements such as viagra, cialis, etc and using a vacuum erection device. Your urologist should have prescribed this to you after surgery. Hope this helps.
Avatar n tn I was searching to see if there might be any interaction between the medications and Cialis and in doing so found that sudden hearing loss is a potential rare side effect to Cialis and similar medications. By this time it has been more than two weeks since the onset of the hearing loss and I cannot remember precisely but I believe that I may have last taken one Cialis tablet within 24 hours before the earache hearing problem.
Avatar m tn Hello, I have read in a few websites that there is an increased risk of priapism in patients who take ED drugs like Cialis/Viagra/Levitra and who also have (among other conditions) Sickle Cell Disease and/or Beta Thalassemia. It's not clear to me whether Beta Thalassemia Minor (my condition) also increases that risk.I could not find much information about it.
