chest tightness heartburn

I am 7 weeks pregnant with my first child and I have this uneasy feeling in my chest. Right at my breastbone. It's like a tightness. I looked it up and I guess it might be heartburn? But I have it all the time. Anyone else have that feeling?

I started eating a double chocolate protein bar and immediately upon finishing I started getting tightness in my chest . Now, I do have acid reflux but it was not heartburn I really panicked there and started to think this is it I am having a heart attack..Ι got a coca cola and started burping. But I have never felt tight chest before so worried. Didn't have any other symptoms with the tightness and pulse / oxygen etcc was very normal. should I go to the cardiologist again??

So all day yesterday I had this weird feeling like trapped air in my chest and it was making me feel so nauseous and I kept burping. Last night I had severe heartburn which wasn't a surprise because I had eaten ravioli for dinner. Then all day today I've still had that feeling of tightness in my chest. I feel like I need burp but I can't, whenever I eat or drink it hurts alot like as if there isn't enough room food or water to go down.

I have a strange tightness in my chest right below my sternum. I would describe it as the feeling you get when you swallow a chip that might have been a little too large. Details below.... I've been suffering through what I would call chronic heartburn for years now. My Dr prescribed prevacid and that has successfully treated the symptoms. Ive been taking about 1 pill a day and symptoms return promptly if I forget to take a dose.

Twice in last two months it has happened after periods, i experience shortness of breath like claustrophobic, i do not inhale enough air and run outside in open place to breath heavily. I feel pressure and tightness in the chest like something is stuck in there, accompanied by heartburn. Most of the time this heartburn feeling comes at night. I lose any urge to eat and feel nausea for three to four days and feel suffocation all the time. Last time i felt like i am going to pass out.

I have a tightness in the far left of my chest at base of shoulder that radiates to the center of my back what could cause this also often I have pain n left side up back of neck

I get an overall tightness over my chest up into the base of my neck and out to my shoulders when I do anything physical. The doc recommends that I get a cardio catheterization, and I might end up doing that, but I am a big weenie when it comes to needles and invasive procedures. People with GERD also tend to have a frequent cough, chest tightness, chest pain, neck pain, etc, because stomach acid is actually getting into your lungs. I notice that I often get pvcs when taking a deep breath and this is usually when my GERD symptoms are acting up. I really don't understand the correlation myself. lol.

I'm currently on the triple therapy with incivek. I'm taking my 4th shot tomorrow. For the past three days I've had a tightness in the middle of my chest right under my breast bone/above my stomach. It doesn't hurt but it's uncomfortable and it comes and go throughout the day but I notice it more at night when I'm laying down. Has anyone experienced this feeling? The best way I can describe it is a feeling like someone is squeezing the inside of my chest.

I have chest pains near my heart, and have chest tightness. My back and neck hurt. I have heartburn very badly, but have never had it before in my life. Sometimes when i burp it tastes kind of sour. I feel like something is in my throat. I feel the need to burp a lot. I get really scared when my wife goes to work because I worry that while im home watching my 3 year old child, that i will have a heart attack and no one will find me in time to save me.

i am wondering is the pain in my leg possiblly related to my shortness of breath and pain which seems to be smack in the centre of my chest, sometimes it feels like heart burn other times tightness and last night my chest was just pouunding so hard i was very concerned.

I am having chest pain and tightness(feels like someone is sitting on my chest for about two minutes) numbness and tingling in left arm and pain in back and nausia. i am 37 years old and i smoke a pack and a half a day.

for about a week now i have been getting pains in my chest area under my breast, toward the bottom of my ribs, then the pains kept getting worse and then my chest started feeling very heavy, as well as trouble breathing and getting out of breath really fast. i went to our local urgent care center and they said that they dont know what it is. i am waiting to get a appoiuntment with my doctor, but i was wondering if this sounded like it could be anything to you.

I get really bloated after eating and there is extreme tightness in the middle of my chest where your rib cage comes together...along with the back ache. I'm so hoping the tests reveal something. I am really tired of feeling this way. T Do you share similar problem? Thanks.

For several years I've had inflammed and swolen nasal passages without actual infection. More recently, I've started having a tight feeling in the center of my chest up to the bottom of my throat, and sometimes I will feel vaguely short of breath, or breathlessness that is not associated with exercise. Also alot of lightheadedness.

I too feel constant chest pressure/tightness, and an occasional pain in the left side, and sometimes I get electrical shock feels in my chest. When i am standing up, it feels better for me as well. Do you get terrible heartburn? I have had horrible heartburn for the last week or so and a constant feeling like I need to burp. I even get heartburn before I eat, or well after I eat. It seems like no matter what we do in our lives, that we are always thinking about it. I wish I had answers.

t feel heartburn or chest tightness when my throat hurts, which I think is weird because I believe I should feel the heartburn if therea acid in my throat. I'm just very confussed about it all and I'm wondering if this will go away with time or I should contact an ENT. Also will my other symptoms continue to fade away as I take the medicine? Thanks.

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to add my experience for people that might read this thread now. My problem is GERD causing that throat/chest tightness. I checked my thyroid first but everything is fine, then had an endoscopy and sure enough I have esophagitis (spelling?) from GERD. I am taking lanzoprazol but it sometimes works, sometime it doesn`t. Hopefully I'll find a definitive treatment.

I have the tightness in the chest, the burning is off and on ( and not heartburn type burning) sometimes I have the lump feel in my throat. I barely eat because I have no appetite. But I'm also not loosing any weight from the lack of eating. I have had an upper scope, colonynoscopy, ultra sounds, mri's bloodwork for just about everything. I wish someone could figure it out. I would like to have my body feel normal again..
