chest pain left side tightness

I have been having chest pain on my left side. It also shoots to my left armpit, side of left breast and I have numbness and tightness down my forearm into my hand. I went to urgent care on Friday and all I got was a high WBC indicating I have an infection somewhere! So I went to the ER and that dr, didn't seem to worried at all. Now it's Sunday and I still have pain tightness and heaviness. I checked on WebMD symptom checker and results said pulmonary embolism or heart attack.

okay hers the question over the last couple of months once in a while I get a sharp pain under my left chest muscle almost on my side, it only last a second or 2. usually I am siting down. It hasnt happen while I have been active. there are no other symptoms . I take my bp right after it happens and its is122/ 82 paulse 83, my doctor says it a typical chest pain and not to worry . well I am worried what do you think.

I am sixteen years old. I am an asthmatic, although it rarely troubles me and I use my inhaler on a very rare basis. I have been on and off sick with the flu and I'm relatively sure I haven't recovered one hundred percent. However, lately I have begun to feel a significant tightness of my chest - to the point where it's panicking. There is also pain in the left side of my chest and the sensation of pins and needles.

ihad the same pain,sharp,burning,like you said tightness around ribs, only on my left side, nothing showed up on xrays was kinda like a try this and try tha show nothing t. then my dr. said, if i didnt know better id say you had the shingles on the inside (without the typical rash) so we treated it for that and thats what bitb was.

symptom of intermittent chest tightness on the upper left side of my chest (almost near shoulder). It just comes and goes and it is just a tight sensation. I have read this could be anxiety and am wondering if anyone else experiences this. FYI I recently had a echo done that was all good and holter monitor showing Sinus Rhythm/Sinus Tach. I mentioned this to MD and he didn't seem concern but as all of you with anxiety know, it just isn't that easy.

I am having pain/tightness/tingling in my left upper chest,arm and left rib cage. I have been to ER few times and Cardiologist. Heart and lungs trashed fine. I am a nervous wreck and don't know what else to do.

Soon after pain, I started to feel tightness in my chest. It is difficult to explain the tightness. It is not tightness caused by congestion. If feels like my chest is heavy or the muscles are laboring more to suck air into my lungs. Today the pain in the back feels more like a burning sensation. I am a 22 year old white male, reasonably active, 6'0'' 190 lbs. I don't smoke or do drugs and limit alcohol to a couple beers on the weekends. I struggle with chest tightness. I get left arm pain , upper back pain, depression now too. Weird head pain and it's all on left side. It's the chest tightness and shortness of breath I hate the most. I concentrate on taking deep breaths just to help calm down. Does anyone else go through this?

I'm not sure if this question is under the right forum but here goes. I have been experiencing a dull pain and tightness on the side and under my left breast. At times I'll get the slightest sensation of being out of breath. The last time it happened it felt like something near my heart did a backflip. I'm a relatively in shape 21 year old with no history of any sort of problems. It's been happening a few times a month.

3 days latter I got the same pains just worse. This time the left side of my face went numb. Tightness in the chest and sholder and upper back pain along with my left arm numb and tingling. When I saw my doctor she had that face like she did not believe me. She did anothe EKG and this time she said it was diffent from the fitst EKG she had done. I went back to the ER had an MRI, Labs and X Ray . Everything turned out normal.

But like, today, I got a really REALLY sharp pain on my right side, followed by a tightness in my throat... then like, the pain traveled up the left side of my neck to my ear, but that pain wasn't that bad, it was more annoying than painful... but the sharp pain on the right side of my chest was really uncomfortable. It lasted for about a good minute, but now, like 15 minutes later, I still kinda got that uneasy tightness in my throat, and a minor head ache.

I am experiencing throbbing pain which come in waves from left arm right down to my left leg and I can sort of feel this pain across the left side of my heart. previously I have experiencing some chest tightness which l sort of ignored as a passing ailment. But this pain is worse when I am resting and when I am trying to sleep at night. I cannot sleep actually as it is irritating and it keeps me awake at night.

All the tests they performed came back normal and they sent us on our way! Now he still complains of a tightness and pain in his left side by his chest its been almost 4 months and the pain has not gone away. He doesnt have insurance and around where we live its hard to get seen by a doctor if you dont have insurance so we havent followed up with anyone. For the last month I have had nonstop numbness on the left side of my head. My left jaw, neck and armpit get very sore and I have tightness or pins and needles in my left arm at different times. I get dizzy moments and night sweats some nights. I experience tinnitus in my right ear twice a day. I have been to a few doctors and had an MRI or my head and neck, X-ray of my chest, EKG, blood testing, and still nothing. I also have what looks like an enlarged artery in my left hand.

My doctor will probably say it's nothing, so should I go be checked out again and ask for more tests? What tests should I ask for? Would another stress test be useful?

Have always had a slight cough, maybe due to allergies plus from when I smoked. I do get tightness in my chest from the asthma but a rescue inhaler quickly clears that up,it's something I have had off and on since I was a teenager... Anyway, About a year ago I under went a cardio work up due to PVCs.All came back well but during that testing I developed a pain under my left breast. It came and went, never very sharp but dull ache. My PCP did a full work up, sonogram of my upper ab.

It feels like a tightness and sharp pain in the middle and left side of my chest. I also get a racing or slow heart beet and out of breath fast. It hurts off and on throw out the day. They said they did see nothing wrong and said it was probably brused mucles. I also went to my doctor, all she did was ask questions and said it was mucles stretched.
