Avatar m tn Well the back pain and memory loss maybe a psychological problem and you are just imagining it or in other case is not connected with masturbation. The next point is masturbation for 3 or more times a day well, normally masturbation is not bad except in cases when you are obsessed with it. Maybe you need to visit a psychologist to talk about your insecurities and try to find a GF to supplement the number of masturbations a day with normal sex.

The causes for this loss of memory could be many like lack of sleep, hurried up routine, psychogenic memory loss after a stressful and life threatening event, vitamin B1 deficiency, certain drug abuse like PCP, LSD and cocaine. Some prescription drugs can also be the culprit like barbiturates, tricyclic anti depressants etc. brain infections like encephalitis and head trauma are other rare causes.

Avatar n tn About an hour later he suffered a brief episode (1-2 min) of short term memory loss. He could not remember the weekend holiday or do sums. Other than feeling cold he did not exhibit any physical symptoms. He had another episode about three weeks later. A neurologist examined him and found nothing but set up an EEG. He has had no other episodes. Any suggestions as to what to ask during/after the EEG or what the potential cause might be? Thank you.

Avatar m tn grief takes many forms, and talking to the image in your head that represents the memory of your life, is not uncommon...she is still a prescence in your mind. But if the line between memory and reality becomes blurred for you at some time, then you should seek professional help to sort it out.
787406 tn?1339203183 I also started having memory problems and stuttering trying to find words two weeks before the EEG was done, which also started after the finger thing feeling in the hair and brain and the loss of focus. these last 10 to 15 minutes. The ones with blind spots are usually only there 1 to 3 minutes. I have been to 2 neurologist and they can't seem to come to a decision. First one did a EEG and said I had a focal over left and right temporal lobe with the left being the worst, MRI was normal.

Avatar f tn Epileptic acticity causes scarring of tissue; the hippocampus is unfotuantely very prone to scar as a result of seizures, and is often an onset sight for refractory complex partial seizures, if that is what your brother in law has. Avatar n tn Severe alcohol or drug abuse, and malnutrition, act to deprive the brain of nutrients causing the death of brain cells. This can also cause significant loss of memories. Memory loss may sometimes result from stroke, if it affects the area of the brain concerned with memory functions. Once brain cells die, they cannot be replaced. Depending on the cause of the amnesia, the brain may be able to recover many of its previous faculties.
Avatar m tn Sorry Hi, My question really is about memory loss. I am only 24 years and I feel like I am too young to be experiencing this kind of memory loss; I don't know what you want to call it but I just think maybe it's getting worse? I always had a little hard time remembering things but recently I think it has reached a level now where it is impacting me and my surrondings. Less than a week ago, I lost my iphone, (or so I thought) when going at the post office.

Avatar n tn t think anyone on here would like to take a stab in the dark about this. Yes those of us with BP do have ocassional memory loss, usually following mania or psychosis. We also talk about our memories not being as clear as they once were. With everything your daughter has gone through though it could be that her brain has just "shut-off" in an attempt to cope, mend etc. I am not a psychiatrist though as I'm sure you appreciate.
Avatar m tn Berry blocks natural brain aging Over the years, lots of studies have shown that this fruit reduces your risk of vision loss, weight gain, heart disease, and certain types of cancer. Avatar f tn Hi! I am in the process of having more tests done, but it seems my docs don't even know which direction to LOOK. I am a 35yr old female, w/ history of migraine w/ aura & several episodes of "complicated migraine". 2-3 months ago, I had an episode that they can only assume was a complicated migraine (MRI & EEGs were normal). The severity of the episode improved over 24-48hrs...
Avatar n tn You need to give these perversions and fantasies a break and do not feel guilty. Try to concentrate on studies with commitment. The causes of memory loss can be aging, alzheimer’s disease, trauma, side effects of certain drugs, etc. the loss which has occurred cannot be reliably reversed but further can be prevented.
146021 tn?1237204887 A quiet salute here in honour of Nick, a remarkable young man ... and in honour of his mom, what a remarkable pair - mother and son. Both - an enduring inspiration to all of us and Nick, never to be forgotten. I have always felt that when my son came along it was like God looked down and said "this boy belongs with this mom" and laid him in my arms, my heart and my soul. I got the same sort of impression observing the relationship between you and your Nick, Angel.
