Do you think that is too much? Can i cut the pills in half. I am a tiny person and my doc knows that. I dont know why she would give me the highest dose? I have a phobia of taking pills.

The 10mg zyrtec is too strong for me so can I cut it in half and take 5mg instead?

Did you talk with your doctor about taking the two together, like a half hour before bed? I used to take my kpin before bed with some medication that makes you tired together. How does the lunesta work btw?

I realize this may sound strange but I was wondering if any of you have a "pill cutter" at home or do you just cut your pill in half with a knife? The opana does the same thing as the fentanyl - - keep those as far apart as you can. Dont mix the lunesta and the diazepam in too close a dose. They will also mirror each others affects. From what I was informed by my psychiatrist Lunesta although not a benzodiazepene is related to one so a person might find that it is less effective over time. One other sleep aide you might ask your psychiatrist about is Rozerem which is an FDA approved medication that works like melatonin to adjust the sleep cycle and is non addictive.

Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... Isn't Opana Time Released? I know you're the doctor, but I don't think you should inform people to cut their medications in half, ESPECIALLY if they're time released as this could cause a rapid release of all the medication in turn making her more sick, or am I wrong? so when I was in the Er last night they gave me Lunesta a sleeping pill to help me sleep I'm 31 w 5 d n my mom told me its not safe...is it..I mean babys fine n stuff but the hospital wouldn't give it to me if it wasent ok right ?

Hey there...you cannot cut the dose in half....i would call your doctor and see if he/she can change your meds or if it's ok to stop..Levaquin can be given in 250, 500 & 750 mg doses...I was on Levaquin earlier this year for uti and had horrible side effects, so i just stopped taking the meds...I had horrible heart pounding, swollen knees and it felt as if someone had beaten the crap out of me with a baseball bat...

Yes its ok to cut it in half. It should have a little place on the pill where to cut it. If you want to be absolutely sure you can always ask your pharmacist.

Ambien is available in 5mg dosage...might be the right thing for you if you are splitting the 10mg ones in half.

Long story short, i did my own taper since even 4mg gave me That euphoria felt like im a public figure, high confidence and all good stuff That everything is cool. I dropped down to 1mg,md is very proud then i dropped it again to 0.5mg / 24hours thats when i started to feel the wdrawals every morning. Md told me to take 0.25mg every 12hours and it helps a lot no withdrawals at all.
