But i dealt with it for 4 days. I took nyquil, but that was about it?? Then the next day, one of my eyes were blood shot red, and blurry, and when i would wake up in the morning, they'd be stuck together...i knew that was just cold or something?? The other eye then did the same thing the next day. And it got so bad that i had to go to my doctor. My doctor didnt really tell me what was wrong b/cuz the office was extra busy, and they were trying to get everyone looked at before they were closing.
When I was a teenager, nyquil spiked my heart rate and I can't take robitussin because it spikes my BP. I have been sick this past week with a wicked sinus infection that became bacterial, and I had to take azithromycin ( antibiotic ) and cherratussin ( contains codeine ) so I was nervous about that. The tussin helped with congestion and I really needed it because I couldn't even breathe out of my nose, it was terrible, and both ears were infected. I ran a fever for 5 days.
A small minority will progress into one of the classic complications of a common cold, such as a bronchitis or sinusitis. Any time I see patients in the office that come in with any of these classic symptoms or one of the more severe complications such as sinusitis, I always ask about the few days or weeks prior to the onset of the throat symptoms.
I am taking Ibuprofen around the clock for the pressure and slight pain in my ear. I have had to take nyquil to sleep the past few days. Most sources I read say that ear infections will almost always go away on their own. Another thing worth noting is that the pressure in my right ear sometimes seems to coincide with how congested my right nostril is. Oh and the antibiotic I was given was called Azithromycin (500 mg).
i already take antibiotic for my pneumonia but i had colds again can i take again antibiotics?
I plan to do as much research as I can from home. I will let you all know if I come up with anything. Thanks for the input so far.
Ive been having cold like symptoms for a year now which occur a few days before my period n then dissapear suddenly after 24 hours, i have been given antihistemine to take for 30 days with a follow up appointment when these are finished, hope this helps any of you wondering what to do, ill let you all know how i get on with these although i would of rather taken something short term probably just before the symptoms start for a few days than take something on-going?
So, long story short, I did not take the Singular. I know have an appointment with the head ENT doctor at the hospital in my area, next week. I'll put up another post after I see him. Thanks for all your advice and concerns.
I've seen some webpages saying you have to have 4 infections in a year before an ENT will see you, I hope that's not true. I can definitely empathize with how you feel. I've been so upset by this, really depressed and frustrated and bored from not feeling like I can physically do the things I could do just 6 months ago. Hang in there, though, we'll get this figured out. Thanks for your post.
I know it can take some weeks, but I feel everyday is a blessing and a chance. On my first IVF with my son it took them to eight weeks to find evidence that it was a viable pregnancy. Because he was hiding. That was such a trying time for us. When we had our ultrasound my dh did mention to our dr that what was that sparkle and cluster of cells at the top of the sac, but the dr ignored us. The ultrasound tech even suggested doing an abdo scan for a different angle.
I am also going to consult with the periodontist who installed the implant about having it removed. I will go with whoever I think can do a better job. My husband went with me to the oral surgeon & made the comment "Oh, I think they think you are a little crazy". At least I have a spouse who knows the effect these symptoms are having on our lives!!
