I would be careful taking Advil PM as it has an antihistamine in it and might make RLS worse. I mistakenly took Nyquil with an antihistamine in it and had the shakes real bad. So be cautious..

I was going to take NyQuil for it but then realized that on the warning it advises against certain anti depressants and I take Citalopram. can i take NyQuil if i have not taken my citalopram in a little over a week? I am coughing so hard that it is giving me a migraine and i cant drink anything or ill pee myself. I cant sleep because every time i lay down the cough gets worse.

I really dislike getting sick on the weekend because I can't call the DR. Can I safely take nyquil? There is liver warning on back but that's also on tylenol. Hmmm im pretty sure my Dr. told me no nyquil or dayquil when i had a cold over the winter but she did say it was fine to take tylenol cold.

but other things work well and if you are concerned maybe you should try some other means - I used benadryl (diphenhydramine) but I think thats whats in nyquil - melatonin is a supplement that is the component that makes your skin tan with sun exposure....normal dose is 3mg - I take 6mg myself - and alternate periods using benadryl and sleepytime tea (celestial seasonings) along with warm showeer. I dont know for sure about the advice to take 10mg of melatonin.....

I think it *is* likely your medicine extravaganza during your bronchitis may have temporarily elevated your liver enzymes. Just go get retested in a few weeks. Also, mixing Nyquil with the tylenol is a big no, no. Nyquil has alcohol and, when mixed with tylenol, can do (tah dah) exactly what happened to you! I'm sure one time won't damage your liver, but now you know! Take care.
