I use to stick pins and everything in to his and he would just sit and I would stick the pin in deep looking for ingrown hairs. damn he was tough, my wife tried to do that to me, and i almost jumprd through the roof. my Dad is a much tougher man than me.

now i have a cluster of similar bumps (which i cannot see directly) on the back of my neck at the hairline specific to the left side. my mother looked at them and described them to me and it sounds exactly like what i saw on my legs. none of these bumps were ever itchy, just painful and sensitive.
It started on the back of my neck where my hairline starts one on each side. Than I noticed on my right side I now have 3 that go up toward my ear. I have been having really bad headaches and last night I noticed 2 more one on the back of my head that hurts and a little one on the side of my head. Is it possible that it could be cancer, I read an article that it could be cancer especially if you smoke and I have been smoking for quite sometime now but I am only 27.
No, but she did have that when she was 4 months old. Its almost over now, but it was pretty much all around her neck and I think it was due to her having a recent cold. Not sure. Thanks!
Hello, The tiny bumps on hairline and face are allergic reaction to the bleach you used. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or claritin. You can also apply calamine lotion on the rash. It will help in soothing the skin. A mild corticosteroid cream will also help. Also do not use this bleaching cream in the future. If the symptoms persist then please get an evaluation done form a dermatologist.
As for the bumps on my neck, they are at my hairline at the back and one has extended into my actual hair. There are very few (maybe 4 in all) and they itch. It makes it sound like a bug bite, but they won't go away either. There also seems to be a small swollen gland right at my hairline, just to the right of my spine, that feels like a hard lump beneath my skin.
my 15 months old has two firm to hard pea sized nodules on her posterior hairline, one on each side of the nape of her neck. they r mobile and under the skin. could they be the lymph nodes?
I get a new bump about every five days, and they've started to show up along my hairline along my face. The bumps are hard masses, and the ones I had in the beginning have eventually mostly gone away. They are not itchy. I am a 22 year old Caucasian female... obviously I don't wear sunscreen on my scalp. Any idea what's going on? Thanks.
I have had a burning and extremely itchy rash on the back of my neck, below my hairline, just above my collar.
When I retruned from FOB Hit a rash on the back of my neck popped up and the VA has tried many different creams with many different ideas on what it could be. It flares up as well. Now small bumps are forming on my neck, hairline and up my scalp. The VA doctors at most will send me to derm., just for them to say they dont know. So about once a year I go to the derm dept at the VA just for another go around, hoping one day they will figure this out before it spreads to my face.
I keep getting very painful blotches on my nose and bumps on the back of my neck. The bumps on the back of my neck usually are above the hairline and the back of the head. I busted one and it was filled with yellowish thick puss. They come and go. The ones on my nose are very bright red blotches that raise a little and are very painful at first, then taper off as they disappear. The bumps are raised up and hard. The blotches are bright red/pink, big and slightly raised on the nose.
Perifolliculitis is characterized by small, very itchy pustules within the scalp, often most troublesome on the frontal hairline. The scalp should be washed with a mild normal shampoo as often as desired. Antidandruff shampoos containing antifungal agents such as ketoconazole or ciclopirox are sometimes helpful. Apart from that you need topical and oral antibiotics, antihistamines, oral steroids and topical tretinoin. My sincere advice is to get it examined from a dermatologist.

But I'm feeling that my ears r blocked from time to time, I used to have ear irritation before. And my head feels kinda dizzy, and I just saw another lump on the back of my neck but on the left side. So there are 2 lumps right now one is located behind my head on the neck below the hairline the first is on the right and the second is on the left. I went to the doctor she said its nothing to worry about, its probably an infection.
The best way I can explain it is that it seems like the pores on my upper torso, as well as some spots on my forehead and neck, mostly in and around the hairline, develop these tiny bumps. When I squeeze the bumps, small clear balls come out of them - almost like the oils in my skin have congealed into a semi-solid ball. Sometimes they clog the pores and I end up with acne in those areas as well.
Well I'm a 22 year old black male, about a year and a half ago I started to see my cheeks darken on the side next to my hairline and I thought it was just the sun..when I started shaving I did it too much and not the right procedure and soon my neck and cheeks got darker and bumps. On one side of my face is dark and rashy lookin and the other side isn't as bad but my neck has black spots..is this from shaving or can it be more serious? Std symptom?
I have a lump on the left side of neck. Just a few minutes ago it was very painful, i touched it an it felt like there was a vien under it. There are also several other red bumps right inside the left neck hairline. what are they? Ive also notice small zit like things in numerous areas of my scalp.
For about two weeks, I have discovered a lump just bellow my hairline (at the base of my skull) at the back of my head. The lump is about the size of a wall-nut. It is not painful, and very hard. It is under the skin, unlike a pimple. I went to the doctors, and he seems told me it was nothing to worry about, and that it was most likely a swollon gland. However I have never had a swollon gland in that location, and its not painful. Am I looking to much into this?
i have little red dots along the sides of my face, up high before my eyebrow &close to my hairline . they are also some on my neck & on my chest . they do not itch at all . i just noticed them yesterday and they are still there . they are not bumps, they're dots . very very small like the size of the point of a saftey pin . they do not raise above the skin, they just look like youre poking me with a very very thin red marker . what could this be ? please help me, thank you .
I also have all the same symtoms,. itchy head, back of neck bumps on the front of my neck, but no lice! My mother thinks I am paranoid, Ive had her check my hair so often, even with a magnifying glass!-but theres nothing there. the doctor prescribed me aqueous cream and coal tar shampoo, and it worked for a short time but not in the long run. I only use natural shampoo- at the moment something from the dead sea 100% organic, which is really expensive, but isnt helping....
For 2-3 weeks, very painful small bumps have been appearing on my scalp. They started slowly, gradually increasing to where they now cover the crown, sides and back of my scalp. They stop at the hairline. This has happened periodically before, however never nearly as bad. Entire scalp is extremely tender to the touch. My hair loss s diffuse and has been shedding steadly at the root for about three years, although, new growth appears.
I have no other symptoms with the exception of a itchy rash on the back of my neck at the hairline. I told my Doctor about it early in the year and she thought it was due to stress. Would you please give me your opinion? Thank you.
I also notice very very very very small blister type bumps on my fingers that i have popped and released some sort of fluid.. the bumps on my penis/butt/thighs do not seem to have any fluid in them.. just very itchy and red.. I have had sexual intercourse about 3 to 4 months ago.. and have noticed these irritations about 2 months ago.. can masterbation cause it to get worse?.. i was told by a friend that it may be bed bugs?.. is that possible? (fleas? or no?..
They sting where they appear. It is mostly around my hairline, and on my arms. Sometimes on my forehead. Is there a name for this conditon and what are they?
After the first bump, I got two bumps that were about 1 cm in diameter, and in the past week I have started getting red bumps all over my body. Mainly on my chest, neck and lower torso area. I'm also starting to get some on my face and near my hairline. There are about 30 dots/bumps in total. I've also been getting them twice as fast now, and it's really scaring me. Some are bigger (1cm diameter) and some are smaller(2mm).
However, it is close to the lump we found on the back of my neck. I don't know how long I had the lump on the back of my neck. It could have been a very long time or something that has developed in the past 1/2 year or so (that's when we found it). The neck pain I have had has been years and I always just thought it was a stiff neck, but, now wonder if it was this "lump" all along.
Not sure why your neck would be itchy unless it's near your scalp/hairline? If so, I started getting this all of a sudden about 3 years ago. I think the doctor called it Seborrheic Dermatitis (a severe type of dandruff). I tried everything (before going to the dermatologist) to get rid of it but I had bad itching, flaking, peeling, and even a little bleeding on my scalp.
