For confirming the diagnosis, you need to send a biopsy sample of the nails scrapings for examination. Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Warm regards.
My 9 yr daughters nails are flat but have bumps within the nail bed. Nails are very thin and separate. we keep her nails short. she is now becoming more concientious about this. I did have a dermatologist look at her nails but he said she will grow out of this. My Husband also has the same type of nail (which makes me weary that she will grow out of it). His nails curve inward, and thin. He says his nails hurt. He has been tested for Iron Deficiency anemia but this was normal.
I've recently had several (3-4) growths pop up about a 1/4 inch up the top side of the shaft of my penis, and then 2 or 3 more on the pubic region about a 1/4 inch away from the shaft diagonally on the right side. They are very small in diameter, about the size of the tip on a fine point pen. They are almost cylinder in shape, as in they are almost taller than they are in diameter. I thought maybe it was ingrown hairs because I shave down there about once every 2 or 3 days.
I have little bumps that appear on my index and middle fingers. It's seems to be only in the spring summer months. Small little bumps almost rash like on the outsides of my finges, they appear during the day and seem to get better at night. Could be the sun or the heat. Not really burning just a little itchy. It's been happening for years but it was never a big deal. Now I'm wondering if I have melanoma or some damn thing. Please help.
This is a hereditary condition characterized by bumps on the outer upper arms and sometimes the legs. These are made of keratin, the protein which forms hair, nails, and the top, dead layer of the skin. This is not a disease, just the way your skin is built. It fluctuates in intensity, for reasons not obvious to me. Treamtnet to smooth the skin is best accomplished by mild but persistent exfoliation.
Now I have two more small bumps on my index finger and one on my thumb. All of the bumps are white/fleshy colored and they don't hurt or itch at all... I am not sure if they are warts anymore, as I never had warts before in my life... and they don't seem to look like the warts I see in pictures. I did some research and found out they could be "stress bumps" If this is true how would I be able to tell for sure and is there a way to treat it?
I have also have white bumps on my face for the last 10 years, I am in my 50's. Nothing works and they are like hard white heads that are impossible to pop. Two dermos said there was nothing they could do for me...that it was adult acne. They said to try glycolic and salicylic acid peels. I have tried both for about a year and 30% salicylic acid seems to work the best as far as providing a good peel. This seems to thin the skin surface to make the whiteheads pop easier.
Help , I have a reoccuring problem with bumps appearing on my fingers .They are of various sizes from pinhead to pencil eraser and are various shapes. They seem to have very little fluid in them and are more of a solid nature. They occur on the sides of the fingers and tops of the front knuckle. They itch and burn and eventually either break open ,ooze and burn some more or the larger ones turn brown and hard and are able to eventually be peeled off.
Hi everyone, I've been reading the forum threads - very helpful - but no one has noted my exact problem, which is itchy bumps on the palms of my hands. Not red, or white, they seem to come from within. My Dr. said they are probably not bites, as insects do not break the skin of the palms (too thick), and thinks it might be an allergy (to WHAT???). He gave me some corticosteroid cream (this one has Fluocinonide), but it hasn't helped much yet (have used it for a little over a day).
I suddenly have developed tiny bumps on my upper lip. A few months ago this happened in just one little patch but it went away, and I can't remember if I did anything. But just a few days ago they appeared again on both sides of my upper lip. Then, the next day they had spread and now go all the way along the ridge of my upper lip. They aren't particularly noticeable except they change the shape of my lip, making it look smaller than it was in the places where they are on the very edge.
For the last 20 years I have gotten small red bumps on the sides of my fingers. They don't blister. They start out as one or two and then I might get a few more and they seem to cluster up on only the sides of my fingers. They are not itchy but they are sore to the touch when you run your finger over them. It feels like you have a splinter. They are slightly raised and red in color. They will stay for varying lengths of time and then dry up and go away.
I have 3 bumps on my sole, one of them is bigger (3-4mm diameter) and darker red, the other 2 small bumps have a lighter color. They don't itch, hurt or anything. I wear comfortable shoes, and cotton socks. The bums are there on my sole for almost 6 months, and they don't seem to grow or shrink. In the beginning there was a black dot or something in the bump, but I took it out with my nails. My parents and my friends have no idea what are those bumps.
My son (13) has a lot of little red bumps on his upper arm. The rash is also on his chest and face, not red, but feels like sand paper. We were told it is "Dariar's (sp?) Disease", a hereditary conditon, with flare-ups more dominant during warm weather. Where can I find more information on this? Keratosis Pilaris, and what my son has, appear to be exactly the same, except for the time of the year the outbreak is supposed to occur. Your input and help will be greatly appreciated.
About a week after having sex with a guy I have developed a burning and tingling senstaiion around my lips accompanied by tiny fleshed toned bumps on my upper lip. Also the tips of my finger nails have the same burning sensation. My eyes have been itchy and it feels like there is something in them. Could these be symptoms of herpes.

As a result my thumnails had the same bumps. The bumps appear to be on the outter most layers of the skin and nails. I've been tested for fungal infections and that came up negative. One dermatologist suggested psoriasis but others have said "no" to that. It suddenly appeared when I was thirty. Steriod creams seem to have no effect on it but a steriod shot really seemed to tone it down a bit. I was also tested for syphilis which came back negative. Please help.
The bumps are not on the lower lid, but they appear immediately below the lower lid. I have had three episodes in as many weeks with brief periods between when there were none. The bumps are no more than 1/16" in diameter and mostly are smaller -- probably 1/32". The episodes have all begun the same way -- one bump arising overnight so that it is first seen when I awaken then one or two more arise the next night. The bumps do not itch, hurt, or have any sensation whatsoever.
i have these small blister like bumps on one of my big toes, now i seem to have the same thing on the top of my fingers close to the nails, what could this be
Although at that time it wasn't as bad. The bumps are only on a couple of my fingers. My first and middle fingers on both handes. They are worse on my right hand. And they are only adjacent to my middle and lower finger joints/knuckles. They don't appear anywhere else on my hands or body. When the raised bumps go down the skin is very hard and dry in that area and a little sore. They are pink/red in nature and kind of yellow when they dry out.
i have the same problem, it ***** i have the bumps everywhere on my hands and some on my feet. and the itching is constant. my boyfriend of a year has a similar condition only his have scabbed but he also gets the itchys. i hate them ive been to the doctor 2 times first they told me it was contast dermatitis and the steriods and cream didnt help. the second time the doctors didnt know they gave me cream and told me if it stays i should go to the dermatoligist.
I found a blister to be a strange concept on sucha dry foot I traditionally have to lotion frequently. As the days went on tiny bumps and itches perplexed around this scabbed blister on the side of my foot. I began to diligently clean it with peroxide. At first I contemplating the theory of it being a fungus like athletes foot, especially since Id been using communial matts at yoga... however it didnt seem feesable on sucha dry foot.
I get the little bumps on my hands (palms mostly but sometimes up on my fingers depending on the severity of the "break out") and on my feet (much rarer). I went to the doctor for it as a child eveytime it happened and after years of lotions, creams and steroids it still is hasn't gone away, although I've started to note patterns of break outs and they've gotten less frequent and severe. I've found at least 3 seperate triggers that cause break outs for me. The first is stress.
i woke up this morning with itchy red bumps on my shoulders arms legs but a lot are on my thighs they're not that red it itches badly. i don't know what to do.
I have a few white very small (smaller than a pimple) bumps in a few locations on the shaft of my penis. No pain, no itchiness, no nothing. When I first saw it I just thought "a zit?" and when I lightly squeazed it between my finger nails rather than what I was expecting, the white bump completely came off. No pain at that either, and what came off was harder flesh, white. A very small ammount of blood followed but quickly clotted. Healed very quickly too.
Well going on 8 year probably i was noticed these bumps all over my skin mosly with hairs coming out of them. It started with my thighs and moved to my arms and now my chest and stomach is accumulated these bumps. They dont hurt or anything, but it makes me insecure because of all of it. It just seems like its been spreading but i dont know what to do. Can you help me please any advise will be appreciated.
Test at 3 months post exposure for a conclusive result. Whatever the bumps are on your hand...they are not consistent with HIV.
My wife has had tiny bumps on the left side of her upper lip for about 3 days now. She doesn't know where it came from and told me that she might have put some sunblock on her lips by mistake because she didn't think to was her hands after using it. The first day she noticed it was during a shower as she cleaned her face she felt some pain comming from her lips after looking in the mirror she noticed the bumps and said she could feel a little pain from her lip and that it itched.
They're erupting all over my hands and both my hands and feet are tingling like mad so I'm expecting to see several blister-bumps on my feet in the morning. If I put a tourniquet on my arm and squeeze a ball you may see several bumps all over the pads of my fingers as if there are several sub-cu blisters.
Well this morning I was trimming up 7 months of pubic hair since I was in lock up, and about 10 minutes after finishing I noticed all these wierd bumps on my penis, and my balls, Then I looked at the underside of my penis and I saw two fairly large red marks going up my penis, and I looked more closly and saw that the red mark leads on to my scrotum as well.
