my gynocologist told me that i should stay on birthcontrol pills without stopping them to get periods in between each pack because that will stop the endometriosis from growing
Ive forgotten pills before(about 5months ago) and my doctor asked me to stop my medication for 2 months in order for me to get my period twice to take out all the blood trapped from forgetting pills. My problem was solved afterwards and no brown discharged occured until i forgot 1 more pill (august2) Please help !
for about three weeks now every day I've been getting brown discharge, i don't know what it is. this happen to be before a few months ago but only for a few days and then it stopped but now its constant ... what should i do?
Mine is random all the time, but I have endometriosis. Mine changed from dark brown discharge, to bright red blood, to blood clots, to watery, to thick. It's usually nothing to worry about, but if it persists, see you doctor just to check up on it.
m noticing a metallic smell but one that smells strong and not like a normal scent. The discharge is watery and light brown after my period. I'm very on top of my hygiene. I have done a laparescopy on 4th of November,09 to remove intense endometriosis in my ovaries. The cyst in my right ovary was a big one. I had on and off brown, chocolate colour discharge for 14 days after the surgery. Rarely there were fresh blood discharge as well. After 14 days of my surgery I started my normal periods. It was fresh blood. Now I m in my 9th day of my mensus and still bleeding. Not very heavily but may be 1 pad per day.
About an hour after sex I went to the bathroom and my underwear was completely soaked with brown discharge, so this isn't just a little bit of discharge. I'm on birth control and have a week and a half left until my period. What's going on? I've had sex earlier this month but I always use protection, and no accidents.

Hi I am 30 years old with two children one whom I had 3 years ago and just about a year ago I have been having brown discharge every month when I am not on my period. I have to always where a pad at all times because of discharge or regular period. My periods are very heavy with large blood clots (jelly like). My periods is also mixed with discharge. After my period it turns to brown discharge that does not have a smell and that last up until my next period.
This month and last I have had brown discharge/spotting about 1 and a half weeks after my period with a little discomfort in my abdomin and vagina. Last month I wasn't worried as my test results were negative but because it's happened again this month I am a bit worried. I've not had unprotected sex since that one time. s probably what happened to me. Like a month ago I got a week of super light brown discharge and I thought it would go away but 2 weeks later and it came back. I just had a full period this week and today there's more brown discharge. I have horrible anxiety and I really don't want to worry about this. It doesn't cause me any pain it's just a hassle to be getting it. I REALLY don't want to go to the doctors and I mean REALLY don't want to do please don't tell me that.
I have chronic abdominal pain, painful periods, painful intercourse, and lately, very dark brown-black thick discharge during my normal periods. My periods are always regular since I have started birth control. Does anyone know if this could be related to endometriosis? Or is this something different? I would really appreciate some help!
Hello, I have been getting lower stomach pains for a few days now and ive now started getting a fair amount of brown discharge. I had a miscarriage last month and have been having unprotected sex as my doctor said it was fine to carry on trying as i was only 1 or 2 weeks pregnant. I can think of two possibilities--the first being endometriosis, as you suspect. Endometriosis symptoms typically flare around the time of the period and then get better for awhile until the next cycle. It can affect the bladder, can cause spotting, and can cause pelvic pain and cramping. The only way to confirm the diagnosis of endometriosis is to do a laparoscopy.
Me and my boyfriend had sex 4 days ago and now I'm having this brown discharge come out with my blood from my period?! Should I be worried?
Since then for the rest of the pack I had brown/red discharge and pain. I then had my break and my period came which was particularly painful. I then started my pills again as normal and carried on with the brown/red discharge and still have it now 6 weeks since I missed a pill. I am a 16 year old who has sex alot with only one guy. We are not dating but we have a good relationship. Lately i have been seeing brown stuff coming out of my vagina. Usually it would stop for a couple days and then start back up again for i dont remember how long. I would then wipe myself down there and sometimes it would be blood along with the brown discharge. I had a D and C and laposcopy 5 weeks ago. I am still experiencing a light brown discharge, and not sure why? It is regular and sometimes heavy. I read should only last 2 weeks, and would get less and less as time went on, but that's not what's happening. It doesn't smell or anything but just was wondering why it is still happening. ?? this year I have a brown discharge not period not heavy I had swab for infection but normal.
