ve been sexually active w/o protection. I have noticed pinkish and brown discharge. This has been going on for about a week now and no period yet. Also I have tested negative on 2 home pregnancy tests.
What could this possibly mean? Is there a possibility of being pregnant even if I have tested negative?
I started my using Nuvaring about a month and a half now and am currently on my second ring. I put a new ring in about 3 weeks after I inserted the first ring and skipped my period. I've been having a lot of white discharge that smells like period blood and sometimes when I wipe I can tell it's a light brown period that won't go away. Is this normal has anyone else had this happen or gone back to your dr for it?
today i got light pink/brown discharge, and a couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and i had sexual intercourse with a condom, but i didn't know that the condom broke until the next day when a piece of it came out in discharge. i was a few hours late on my birthcontrol that day and it was taken about ten minutes before intercourse. my period is due in six days also.
2 days before i was suppose to take my ring out i got a brown reddish discharge which has never happened before. i usually take my ring out and then get my period. i'm still waiting to get my period it usually appears 2 to 3 days after i take the ring out. i'm just really concerned cause ive read a lot of sites and some women say they got their period for months but still ended up being months pregnant. should i be worried or have i just psyched myself out?
Yesterday I experienced light-brown tinted discharge (that i only noticed from my toilet paper) and today the discharge has become slightly darker but only a little bit is present. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend 2-4 days after i got off my period. We have not had sex since, considering that we live far apart. Could this be implantation spotting or is it too early?
Side note: I'm a bulimic but I had not purged until the 14th day of my cycle.
I recently missed my period, by 4 days, then got light spotting which was a normal blood color. But it didnt stop, and turned into a dark dark brown discharge color, and is sticky. I have been having this discharge for over a week and a half. Thought i was pregnant through all of this, took a test said negative, was it too early? could i be? I am on the pill, but i have missed some and have not been faithful to it at the same time every day. If condom was not used, the withdraw method is used.
My periods have been very heavy with the past one lasting two weeks with large tissue discharge. It just ended Sunday after beginning one week before removing Nuvaring and only ending once Nuvaring was reinserted. It is so irregular that I could bleed any time of the month at any intensity for any period of time. This past one was so bad that I had to sleep with a heating pad nightly. What could this mean?
But then I didnt get a period on March 29th I had a couple of really light brown spots and then nothing else. But I didnt like my nuvaring so before I missed my period I had asked my doctor if I could get the pill instead and she prescribed me some so on April 1st even though I didnt start my period I started taking the pill. But I am worried that I am pregnant and hurting the baby or something. maybe I am being paranoid idk, I took a test today and it was negative.
Then on the 14th I put my bc back in (I use nuvaring) and on the 15th had sex again. On the 29th the 3rd 4th and 5th I had light pink/brown bleeding. I also puked on the 3rd and 5th and I've had sore boobs. I've been peeing like crazy and thought maybe I have a uti. It also felt like I was getting pinched in my vag. I also have discharge but I was checked for bv and it came back neg.i took out my bc yesterday but the app I use said my period isn't due until the 12th.
Im on the NuvaRing..and i never use to smell like fish but now that im using it i smell....can any one help me is this normal..??
Is it the nuvaring??? If you didn't put it back in, it's probably from that.
Over the past three or four months I've been having strange discharge on occasion. For me, thick off white very slightly yellowish discharge is normal for me. Has been this way all my life. Recently it has been the same, but with the occasional clump of opaque thick off white mucus like material. It it's not fertile discharge in the least. It is entirely too clump like and not very stretchy, though it's obviously different from the regular sort I have.
while i was on the ring, this was about three days before i was supposed to removed it, i started having some brown discharge. it is basically light brownish and has the same consistency and texture almost like i would see with white discharge. i removed the ring a day before i was supposed to in hopes my period would come down faster. i went to a gyn to check it incase of infection, but beside a mild yeast infection there was nothing wrong. i am supposed to get my period this week...
Has anyone had any problems with the nuvaring since yhall neen on it... Can someone give me some information abt it... Thanks....
Many people have experienced pains and light bleeding while having intercourse and using nuvaring. It seems to affect everyone differently, but it's very likely the nuvaring is the source of your problems. I would suggest trying a different form of birth control, as this one is obviously not for you.
I was due to take my nuvaring out on the 25th Nov 2011, so i did so. ((we have regular unprotected sex while on nuvaring)). My partner and I, same one, again had unprotected sex on the 27th Nov 2011 while nuvaring was NOT in place since i took it out on 25 Nov 2011. After the encounter, i peed like i normally do.
