Face wash with .5% salicylic acid and another facewash with 3.5% benzoyl peroxide. I MAKE SURE to take really good care of my skin but it dosent seem to work. Also i have a prescription face medication cream called BenzaClin which is 1% clindamycin and 5% Benzoyl peroxide. Also, i am away at college far from my house so could it be my face isnt use to the water here? Im not sure what else it could be. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to help???

i was curious how to tell if a new face wash is right for your skin. the first couple of days made my skin better, but now i seem to have a couple more zits formed, and my skin seems oilier. i dont know if its because its drawing out all of the impurities, or if its not right for my sensitive skin. how long should i keep using it for also? just in case it is right, i dont want to give up too soon.

I never knew certain face washes were bad I use clean n clear with benzyl peroxide cause I'm allergic to sasylic acid but my face wash hasn't been working lately my face chest and shoulders are breaking out like crazy.

Hi this may be case of irritative contact dermatitis.Stop using the soap and just wash your face with warm water.Rinse your face well to remove any residues.When the redness subsides try using a more bland soap that is hypollergenic. You may use oil to moisturize the affected area. Do not use creams.
Are there any associated rash in other parts of the body?
If the symptoms persist , consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.
m still breaking out after using biore charcoal cleansing face wash it took me about a month to use the whole tube I was breaking out a little while using it and now its been 3 months since and I'm still breaking out I never had acne this bad only one pimple at a time now there's five at a time please help I need to know if its going to be lime this forever or what do I do to make my face go back to normal...

It would help ifyou could explain the cause of your concern. It is ok to wash your face with a face wash while taking a shower. Try not to use hot water - it will dry up your skin excessively.
Other than that, it is a good practice to wash your face several times daily.

It not only didnt work, the rest of my hair has lost all moisture. Yes, I knew better, but whats a girl to do? I did get a zit on my face at the same time, whats that mean? Thankfully I use benzaclin and retina a. But its not for hair. Im such a well informed person on so many levels I cant believe this ones a stumper.
One doctor prescribed Benzaclin and another doctor referred me to a dermatologist. After scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist and waiting over three months I ended up seeing a PAC and not an actual dermatologist (if that matters).
Unfortunately I lost the notes I had from the visit but she said I had Sebaceous something or the other. She said there wasn't really anything I could do to clear it up. She gave me a Tretinoin prescription for acne in general.

I am currently taking benzaclin and erythromycin gel at night and Evoclin foam in the day. I also tweeze and wax the hairs. I was wondering if tretinoin cream would help prevent ingrown hairs due to increased epithelial cell turnover?
I know laser treatment would be most beneficial but cannot afford it at the moment. What can I do in the meantime to help prevent ingrown hair and pimples in the hair follicle?

Whole foods has a natural tee tree oil face wash. No chemicals added. It's a great antibacterial and leaves your face feeling clean and soft.
s nothing really to pop. It usually goes away within the week. I also have been using Benzaclin for the past few months. I try to use it only when i have a pimple coming on. I know it can make my skin very sensative. I've never had a cold sore, but could this be one?? I dont feel any tingling or the other symptoms I've read about concerning cold sores.
Avoid using any lotions and creams over the face for the meantime. Wash your face with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Pat your face dry. Then apply a good hypoallergenic moisturizer over the area and see if this improves. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort.
If the irritation persists then pls get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
I use Dove Sensitive body wash to wash my face and have for years. As well as Aveeno Clear Complexion face lotion. But like I stated earlier, I've used all the products for a while, nothing is new that would cause something that I haven't noticed before. Please help!! I've attached a photo of part of my forehead. It's not the best picture but it'll give you an idea.
