I wake up at night wheezy,coughing up white or clear phlem . I also have chest heaviness and itchiness in the chest area. I feel like there is phlem stuck in my throat and my nose feels stuffed.When it is hot out I get these same symptoms.could this be asthmatic bronchitis or something else. I took antibiotics and they didn't help so the doctor gave me avelox(a stronger antibiotic)I am afraid to take it because there are so many dangerous side effects.

m curious as to what happened with your side effects from Avelox. Did they eventually go away.

Avelox... I went yesterday and saw a lung specialist, he calmed me down and told me that i only have a little pneumonia in my lower left side it's nothing to be worried about. It's the bronchitis that's causing a lot of pain in my chest and back that I did not have prior to the antibiotics.

I have taken several medications over the 30 years that I've had depression and anxiety though. If you have any unusual side effects or side effects that you just can not deal with make sure to tell your Dr. It's not uncommon for people that have depression and or anxiety to be on more then one medication.

It depends which Meds you mean you should always go by the instructions you are given and are always on the Pot they come in, you could get side effects like headaches and stomach pain, or very tired, you should say what kind of Meds, and how much was taken.

i stopped cold turkey because i was feeling like getting addicted to it. Shall i consult my doc on this, because i wanted to move on in life but it seems my jerking sensation is still there, Do i need to see a Doc and explain him what happens or what?

I had very severe side effects w/Trileptal. I have been on this drug for about 1 year. In August, I was rushed to the ER with severe dizziness and headache (missed my trip to Hawaii!!!). Neutremia was discovered at this time. I have been going to doctors since trying to find the cause. My neurologist found the problem yesterday...yes, it is Trileptal. Could be the meds and you are having side effects, see the Doc and ask if it could be that and ask if there is something else you can take.Have you tried Therapy and talking to someone aswell?

they put me on a 2 wk regimen of avelox. i am not having any side effects from it, but infection continues to get worse. at this point i feel no end in sight for this infection. it is feeding off the antibiotics and in my mind i will never get well. and i am sure with being on 4 sets of antibiotics, this bug has just grown resistant to anything and will kill me. i don not relish a long suffocating phegmy death. any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My mother just had her 1st shot of Lucentis. She has a small leak. She is also on Glaucoma eye drops. She is experiencing extreme fatigue and she said her thoughts/memory seem fuzzy. I don't know why you would take both. Promethazine is another form of medication for nausea and it's side effects are HORRIBLE. Zofran is a first class drug (I've been using it for several months) and I don't see any reason for you to be on both. I would definitely question your doctor and demand some form of explanation.
