I might be pregnant and my psychiatrist told me not to worry about the embryo. He told me that even while I'm taking 15 mg of Aripiprazole and 50 mg of Sertraline daily, there is no danger. I'm really worried. if I'm pregnant,would these doses harm my embryo being taken daily?

MY 6 YR OLD SON had a round red swollen area on his right forearm and after applying fudic bnf cream and teczim syrup for one week , the area developed into a red swollen lump around the size of around 15 mm x 10 mm and the size of the lump after 4 weeks is not decreasing in size and is also not increasing in size but is inflammed red and warm to the touch. The lump is now protruding outside a bit as time is progressing which seems to me .

I would try replacing the Aripiprazole (Abilify) and the Sertraline (Zoloft) by taking 25mg of 5-HTP 3x Daily for 1 week as anymore than this could induce Serotonin Syndrome. I would then recommend swapping the tablets out for a 5-HTP transdermal patch which will release a more even dose of 5-HTP throughout the day especially if you have BPD as otherwise the oral form could cause mania.

So anyway, the pain he says, is the worst hes had in 18 months and his doctors are suggesting he uses amitriptyline but he doesnt want again and personally i agree that he shouldnt be on them. Ive looked in my BNF (British National Formulary) and i cant seem to see anything that might help. I think would take a HPT first and see if you get a BNF or a BFP then eatherway you now where your at and when you make a GP appointment you can eather say im preggo..where do we go from here OR i havnt had a proper AF for a couple of months and they can do some tests to find out why. 2 anti psychotics,one is trifluoperazine and trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride combo and other one aripiprazole mt 5 and 1 mg of lorazepam for sleep. i want to see my pdoc but i am afraid he will give me ect as i saw some nurses in his room which i never seen in past 12 years. i am quite numb and can't respond to any kind of assault. it is really frustrating. since i am on anti psychotics, can i stop it by taking half for 15 days and then quarter for 15 days.

I have been off my meds because i ran out of refills for 21 days now (i used to take 10mg aripiprazole, 80mg duloxotine, and bupropion HCL XL 300mg.) i dont know if that would effect my period but it’s worth a shot putting it out there. I feel as though something is really wrong but I cannot afford a doctor/emergency care because i have no insurance or income. Has anyone been in a similar situation? I have just started taking Aripiprazole(Abilify) and have found it to have some beneficial effects on my mood. However I am also finding myself to be extremely drowsy. I have heard that this side effect wears off with time. Has anyone else experienced this? It's the first antipsychotic I've taken that's had any effect so I don't want to stop it but the fact I can literally go to sleep while standing up is making my life difficult.

You could try taking it in the morning because it typically keeps people awake and causes restlessness. Also, when i first started on aripiprazole (abilify) i experienced some side effects but they went away after a couple of weeks. Hopefully yours will go away as well, if they don't go away,however, talk to your psychiatrist. You don't have to deal with any unwanted side effects if you don't want to. That is what mine always tells me anyways....

Recently, I have been a bit more tired than I usually am, I have these really slight cramps in my lower stomach very similiar to period cramps, but WAY less painful, I experiened a 24-hour headache once and some very dull back and neck aches. if YOU ARE TAKINF FLORINEF ONCE A DAY take it in the morning because this is when your body will normally be secreating cortisol anyway. always take your medication at regular intervals. this is what i got from the bnf online thing. hope this is of use.

Hi, I am 29 years old and I have suspect that I have PCOS. I was overweight/obese as a child and teenager until my early 20s. Aged 21 I started getting excess facial/bodily hair and my weight increased to its highest (can't remember what but I was a UK size 18/US size 22). Then aged 22 my periods went from being 5 days long, 3 days heavy 2 light to lasting just 3 days, none particularly heavy.

UK GP's won't prescribe over those levels despite what has been indicated elsewhere as you rightly say, as there's significant variation on this on the internet within the western world it seems.In the course of my work i've not seen patients being prescribed over these BNF levels.
