After a sleepless night, the nurse told me (by phone) that this was Atrial Tachycardia, that the slow pulse was not a total indication of what was going on with my heart.and to increase my dose of beta blocker from 12 to 25 mg. This made me extremely lightheaded so I went back to my prior dose. While I understand that this is probably a temporary side effect of the ablation and medication is this the case. I am taking Altace, Atenolol and Coumadin. Could this be Bradycardia?
Why is my systolic blood pressure still high when I am taking Altace. My diastolic blood pressure is normal when I take Altace. Why the difference. Could I have angina since I have had pain in my chest around the heart area and in the middle of the chest. Also, could I have arterialschlorsis from the high systolic blood pressure?

Never had a heart attack. The Cardio put me on Metoprolol ( 50mg); Altace 2.5 mg and baby aspirin in addition to Lipitor 20mg. Sep. 2009 he took me off the Metoprolol and increased the Altace to 10 mg.
My Blood potassium level at the time was perfectly normal at 3.6; after the spike in the ace-inhibitor my potassium level has risen in two months to 5.6, which I believe is an unsafe level. My family doctor has now asked me to go back to the 2.5 mg dosage and get re-tested after two weeks.

I take Toprol XL 200 mgs. and Altace 20mgs. and have for many years however recently I have experienced an increase in blood pressure. I have lost some weight and continue to diet as well as exercise. My doctor has tried two calcium channel blockers with the results that I become very ill and unable to continue these medications. Any suggestions?
My cardiologist has me taking 75 mg, of Lopressor, 360 mg, of verapamil, .4 mg nitroglycerin patch. And now he wants to add 10 mg of Ramapril ( Altace ) a day, my recent cardiosrams have have shown sinus bradycardia. That's before starting the Ramapril , I'm just very leary about starting the Ramapril in first of all the highest dose there is, and second of all it could further lower my heart rate and send my heart in to an AV Block that could lead to many things not good !
I had been on Ambien for less than a year. Mostly 7.5mg a night max. When I went through vicodin withdrawal I upped the dosage to 10mg, which was my script max. I have had withdrawal symptoms galore. So my doc says my cervix is really thick. So I started taking max dose of primrose orally about two weeks ago. And then 4 days ago started doing it vaginally before bed as well. If I've thinned by Monday he will induce me Tuesday. I'll be 39 weeks ftm. What do you guys think the odds are that I've started thinning?
Hello, what was your highest dose and a big congrats on stopping... I stopped at 3 mg after 10 yrs with a max of 100 mg and my worst withdrawals lasted 10 days then eased up but no sleep and rls lasted a good month. How fast you dropped and max dose to 10 will make a difference. I tried to stop at a higher dose but couldn't. We are all different but methadone has no favors. 3 months 3 yrs it will be very hard. Hang in there it does get better....
Our five year old American Staffordshire Terrier had a dose of Iverhart Max (first time he took this) last Friday and Monday he started limping on his back legs. It has gotten worse every day. We took him to the vet yesterday (had to carry him into the truck) and when we got there I was getting ready to pick him up, but he mustered up enough strength to walk into the vets office by himself, so the vet said it was probably arthritis. This morning he could barely walk to go to the bathroom.
