443968 tn?1288612689 Someone (beside DH) like us struggling with conception, is hard not been able to talk with anyone but my hubby. So if you live around Grand Rapids Michigan and are going through ttc, well perhaps we can be friends or at least talk about this from time to time.
Avatar f tn The Dr. I've seen for a few years is leaving for Grand Rapids Spectrum Hospital, to far. I'm looking for a new Dr. of Neurology, utilizing either Henry Ford or Beaumont Hospitals.
Avatar m tn Just because your lab results are in the so-called "normal" ranges does not mean that all is okay for you. The ranges are far too broad for that to be the case. I won't get into all the reasons why, but suffice to say that the functional range for Free T3 is more like the upper half of the current range. TSH is a pituitary hormone that is affected by so many variables that it is totally inadequate as the sold diagnostic for thyroid issues.
Avatar f tn That is 1) We admitted we were powerless over alcohol, and that our lives have become unmanageable. So many people get through the detox, at home (which can be dangerous and is often done though a medically supervised detox). It's like it's all or nothing. Those that don't have the opportunity to go to a residential / outpatient Rehab Facility do not instead go to an Addictions Therapist and use them for the therapy that is many times necessary to quit an addictive substance.
Avatar n tn Detoxing off of alcohol cold turkey can be very dangerous if the person has developed a profound dependance on alcohol. There can be very very serious, even life-threatening withdrawl symptoms. If he's at the point where he's puking from withdrawl it may not be safe for him to detox on his own. I would seriously SERIOUSLY consider having him detox in a hospital or rehab center. Not only will they treat his physical state so he can detox safely, they'll help treat his alcoholism.
Avatar n tn I have them now after around 5 - 6 years abusing alcohol, (I went through rehab in Jan. , had my 1st seizure (grand mal) in March. I get partial seizures daily now. My face grimaces....I forget where I am...am confused...for a few seconds...then back to what I was doing....like nothing happened.....seizures.
405370 tn?1332206110 How are you doing anyway? You are so blessed to have such good insurance coverage. My ins covers the meds up to a lifetime of $12,000. I used $6,000 in one IVF cycle and since I've used meds for IUI I only have enough for 1 more IUI with meds. I too am blessed to even have that as I know others have no coverage at all. My clinic charges $6000 for the IVF cycle meds are seperate. Let me know how you are doing.
1548131 tn?1293895533 I am still playing bari sax as much as I can in the Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra, but playing alot more flute, alto and tenor sax now. At least flute does not bother me much, and I am getting very serious about it. For some reason, the act of fast tounging really bothers me on any instrument. My trigger points seem to change from left side of my mouth/lip to toungue, to teeth, to jaw. I may also have some tmj.
317822 tn?1223241475 Detox gets you off the drugs safely, and a little of what rehab does. Rehab deals with learning about your addiction and how to live life without drugs. Once you are done with detox, they will help set you up on some continuing aftercare activities. Like an inpatient rehab, or outpatient rehab, a psychiatrist to follow your meds etc. that kind stuff. Hope this helps?
