actonel and teeth

i currnetly am taking actonel for my bones the past 3 years and klonopin i per night and take alot of vitamins such as B compex etc. no alcohol consumption but i do smoke half a pack of cigarettes per day no other medical conditions known 6 months ago all my blood workups were normal . ANY IDEAS WHAT CAN BE GOING ON WITH ME ?

I am 3 years post breast cancer i had lumpectomy chemo rads i have taken tamoxofen for 2,5 years now on aromasil i had a bone density scan and was told i had low calcuim levels, now on calcuim sandox and actonel asked if i had osetoprosis and was told no have read around actonel and have not taken it yet as of the side effects please can you advice thanks.

I take once monthly Actonel. While I was pushing the pill through the foil blister, it broke. I did not take that pill for fear that it could cause stomach problems. My question is would it have been safe to take? Also, if I contact Proctor & Gamble, do you think they might replace the pill. If it was a daily pill, I wouldn't worry about, but I just lost a whole month of medicine due to a faulty package design.

The last thing the periodontist said to us was if we had to choose between the periodontal and orthodontist was to get the teeth straightened and if there was problem we could then address that problem.The last thing the orthodontist said to us was we should have a strong foundation to start the straightening process. You might want to ask your pharmacist for more specific directions as far as the timing of your meds. I take Actonel once a month and my pharmacist said it was fine to take it at the same time as my levothyroxine since Actonel is also supposed to be taking first thing in the morning. Don't mix meds unless you get an all clear from a pharmacist.

She started out with Fosamax, and after awhile when side effects start from that one, and Actonel was available, they put her on Actonel and she was on Actonel all the way up until it was stopped at 79. I have severe osteoporosis and am trying to take Forteo. I started out with half dose and have worked up to a full dose. The full dose 2 days in a row was disabling. I have IBS> I started to take fosamax once a week (for osteo). did so for 4 weeks. it seemed to bother my esophagus (bumping, reflux) so my doctor suggested actonel. i took one pill a week ago and since have had increasing sensation of a lump in my throat, and like I'm full of phlegm that I can't ever swallow down. I can eat so of course I am swallowing. I'm off all drug right now but throat/phlegm sensations feel settled in, especailly bad at night, and are anxiety provoking.

Does anyone out there know if they have had problems with there teeth after they got off tx? I finished 72 wks of tx and now I am having problems with me teeth. I had dentist check up before tx and 3 times on tx but they would do any of the work.

Both my husband and I have used Arm and Hammer Advanced White toothpaste. We did not like it. It made our teeth and gums sensitive and did not notice any whitening. However, when we make a paste out of Baking Soda and Peroxide. We do notice that our teeth become a little whiter and we don't suffer the sensitivity we did from the Advanced White toothpaste.

In order to get on top of this, brush twice daily, use interdental aids between the teeth such as floss and use a mouthwash at a seperate time to brushing. Don't let the blood put you off brushing, it is a sign that there is bacteria present and those bacteria need to be removed. Make sure when you brush that you brush for two minutes each time and that you brush in a circular motion right down to the gums, making sure to brush the gums as well.
